A Perfect Summer at the Beach
The sun peeked through my bedroom window; time to get up! The day was warm and gorgeous. It was the perfect weather to go to the beach. I woke up early and prepare our breakfast, so we can eat first before we leave. I can smell the eggs and bacon sizzling in a pan. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee makes my day complete. The pancake oozing with butter and maple syrup is ready to serve. I also prepare a fresh squeezed orange juice for the kids. When I was cooking everybody is starting to wake up. We are planning to go to the Narragansett beach with the family. Everything is all packed and ready to go. The kids are very excited; they help me to organize all the stuff that we needed since last night. After we eat our breakfast the kids immediately go to their bedroom and change for their cutest swimwear attire. While my fiancé and I started to pack everything in the car.
We arrive on time at my father-in-law’s house. As we expected my sister-in-law Kylie is late again. She never been on time whenever we have a family gathering. The funny part is she is the one who suggested that we should meet in my father-in-law’s house around 9:30 in the morning but she never made it on time. While we are waiting, I finally had a glimpse of my father-in-law’s apartment; it was nice, simple, and neat. I noticed how blissful he was when he is giving me a tour of his house. He showed me his bedroom with a flat screen television, the living room with a nice and cozy
The story "Our Perfect Summer" is about a boy's life. It begins off with the boy in his young years and the mother at the cleaner's listening to a woman almost "brag" about her second home. The mother and son try to imitate the woman's voice soon afterwards. The story ends with the family telling one another what happened to their perfect house years after they sold it.
When we arrived at the house, I stood there for about five seconds before knocking on the door. They didn’t answer at first, so I knocked again, harder, and then saw the handle start to move. My stomach filled with butterflies as I watched the door slowly open. The face that greeted was one of a two year old, and as I looked up I saw her father standing over her.
Like I said in my introduction, this paragraph will be about when I went shopping multiple times with my family. I know it might sound dumb for a first paragraph but, too me it was awesome. That's because, I love spending time with my family, especially when we're all getting along. Let me break down this day for you. First it was a good morning, my mom made me breakfast and everyone was in a good mood. My Brother was happy, my Dad was being hilarious, and my Mom just seemed like she was having a great time. Then we all got dressed, I was making sure that I looked extra stunning. So we get into the car and my favorite song comes on “Despacito” so my family and I all started singing it together. About an hour later we get to the South lake Mall and we went to four stores, Hollister, Vans, Journeys, and American Eagle. My Mom, Brother, and I all went to those four stores while my Dad went shopping somewhere else. It was going well , we were all having a fantastic time together. Then once we were done shopping we went to McDonald's got some food because, who doesn't adore McDonald`s right? Then we headed back home, it was a great day and for sure one of my favorite memories from this Summer. Keep in mind my family and I did this like 2 or 3 times this year, so it was extra fun.
When it was midnight, we loaded the car and drove through Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee and Alabama. We stopped at a few places to grab food or gas. It was a long time, but it was worth it when we finally reached our condo. It was beautiful! We went to the balcony to see the ocean and it was crystal clear. The beach wasn’t crowded either. We hurried to put on bathing suits and sunscreen. Then we walked downstairs to the beach. The sand was warm and felt great. My sister’s and I ran to the water and
I awoke on a cool summer morning, at first I wasn't completely there but then, a chill of excitement ran down my spine as I realized my family was going camping today. I ran down stairs past the mountains of camping supplies and clothes to talk to my parents in the kitchen. They said we were leaving soon and that I should start packing all of the supplies into our trusty old Ford Expedition. After about 20 minutes of packing our SUV to the brim with all of the things we would need to survive in the wilderness for a few days, we said goodbye to our three cats and headed for Steelville Missouri.
I woke up in my comfortable bed and walked downstairs. I walked to the door that leads outside and opened it. I could smell the fresh air of the country. It has been a week since I moved from New York. I use to live in a crowded suburb in New York City where I couldn’t smell the fresh air. Now that I moved to South Carolina with my wife and two children, I think my life is taking a turn for the better. I live right on the coast, so I also get an excellent view of the ocean from my porch. I continued to breath the fresh air for a while longer. After about five minutes of standing there, I went inside and closed the door. The rest of my family was still upstairs sleeping. I went to the kitchen and started to cook breakfast. The smell of freshly
One beautiful Monday morning, everything was calm (for now). I woke up very fresh, excited, and ready to go to school! It was a nice and sunny day, the best way to start a week. I woke up at 6:00 a.m and had a lot of time to get ready for the school day. After that I wore my clothes, did my hair, and brushed My teeth. Next, I had breakfast that included cereal, milk, and apple juice. My sister and I went outside and saw that my dad was waiting for us to get in the car, so that he can take us to school.
April 31: Last night the people at the front desk were so nice and as soon as we went in our room people gave us welcoming gifts. It was amazing. I wish we could've done more today though. All we did today was hike and then we went to the resort. The kids went to the water park that they have and the parents went to the place with all the other adults. The hotel we stayed at had amazing views and it was like living in a house! The hotel and the resort were so close that we could walk to it. We walked to the resort at night to see how it was because mom said we were gonna go there tomorrow so we went to go check it out. Tonight the parents said we can do anything we want so we are planning on going to the resort because it will feel cooler than it did this morning. If we don't go to the resort then we will go check some other stuff out so we can tell our parents what we want to do tomorrow.
My Boyfriend and I drove to Hampton Beach for the weekend. When we arrived to Hampton Beach it was late because we had to wait for me to get out of college and for him to get out of work for us to get on the road and drive out to the beach. We got to our hotel and checked out our room and unpacked our stuff then we went to go check out the beach. The beach was so peaceful, nobody was there, and it was midnight. We stayed until one in the morning, it was so nice to be able to spend time together. We walked back to the hotel and got ready for bed, early in the morning we got ready for the day and walked to the beach, and we walked the whole beach before anyone got there. We spent the whole day at the beach and
We are in the car hearing the tires move and jump, it’s just me, my mom, my dad, and my two brothers in the car. I’m listening to my music and I see my mom and dad talking. I also see my older brother falling asleep and my younger brother watching his show on our ipad. When we finally get there we are all a little tired but we don’t want to waste anytime, so we drove up to our beach house and it is huge and beautiful. It even has a kitchen.
When the sun begins to hide behind the horizon there is only one environment on the planet that harnesses the power to leave oneself in complete and utter awe. This one of a kind place captures all of the elements in their perfect and most striking form. The sky bolsters with eloquent colors, the warm sand caresses your toes, and the soothing waves break with the most perfect noise as to not break your focus on the sunset; it is just as captivating as a north poles aurora borealis. A certain feeling drifts along through a slight breeze on this sunset beach as you observe the sunset above the water. It is a warm and comforting feeling that most people can relate to when they experience the affects of love for the first time; a sudden rush of
‘’ Wake up, wake up you lazy kids’’ my mum said, ‘’we are going to the beach”. My sister, my two brothers, and I woke with extreme energy, happy because it was the first time we visit the beach that summer. The day dawned bright, the sky was painted in bright blue; the beautiful sun was gleaming and shining gloriously. It was idyllic for a picnic by the sea. We quickly packed our stuff, we took some snacks and swimming outfits, and of course chair decks; we took a fast breakfast, and then we headed to the beach. I was very excited because it was my first summer without the safety armbands. However, I knew that it was going to be a bit of scary and risky but not as much what happened with me, it was like the first day at school.
The place where I feel most comfortable is a place where I am calm. A place that is peaceful in its own ways. It is the place to go to get away from all my troubles. It is the one place where I could sit forever, and never get tired of just staring into the deepest blue I have ever seen. It is the place where I can sit and think the best. A place where nothing matters but what is in that little moment. The one place capable of sending my senses into an overload. This place is the ocean.
Back in the day, when I remember of me being a child and it was one of the best moment I could think of my childhood that happened in the summer, where good time start it and not too far off that it sound it like that we played in the water and we figured since it is a bit hot outside i was going to six flags and having some fun with our family and friend having an enjoyable time. Few things I would say about my childhood was also the summer time, when the sun was hitting my body my mom used to worry about me a lot so I would not get dark so she would tell me to put sunscreen on all the time even on my face and in front of my friends but back when I was little I did not get what or why she was saying that but now I get it on why. Sometime when I didn’t wear the slippers my feet would burn like I was walking in a fried pan but I were to just walk in grass with my wet feet and then a few seconds later same thing happens again so it was not point of walking in the grass but I still walked. I closed my eyes one time because my mom used to surprise me with friends coming over, going to swimming and having a picnic and playing with the park dogs, it would be so much fun but we had this curfew time to get back home and the only annoying thing was the bugs and bees around us that were biting out skins off and making us scratch and the dirt we use in or the mud that we use to make sand castles out of at the beach. I tried to look up and see if I would be getting some shade anytime
The sun’s rays glisten across the water as my family and I lie on the golden sands of the beach to relax. Seagulls and other families are scattered around us along the length of the beach. My mom, my sister, and I lie next to each other, listening to the waves crashing against the ocean bank.
