Astro Malaysia Holdings Berhad is a leading media entertainment group established in Malaysia and in parts of South East Asia with operations in the four key areas of business, Radio, Publications, Digital Media and Pay-Tv. It was established in 1996 with twenty two TV channels and eight radio channels and over the years it has grown into the successful organisation it is right now. According to its official website, Astro has a customer base of 4.2 million residential customers which translates to approximately 60% penetration of Malaysia TV households (AstroMalaysia, 2015).
