Since change is a natural occurrence in the business world, organizations use it for its advantage. With change come planning, companies often develop recommendation to solve issues with changes. It 's important for organizations to strategically choosing the one that will reap the most benefits. It is important for organizations to take time and effort to properly implement chosen recommendations. In this report we will provide recommendations and create an implementation plan for the recommendations for the company we discussed in assignment one.
Company Bio
The company this report will cater to is 7-Eleven. 7-Eleven began in "Dallas, Texas, back in 1927 has grown and evolved into the world’s largest operator, franchisor and licensor of convenience stores" (About Us- 7-Eleven Corporate, 2015). 7-Eleven has stores operating in counties around the world including Canada, USA and the Asia (About Us - 7-Eleven Corporate, 2015). 7-Eleven is one of the few retailers that open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, which is a huge benefit to the guests. 7-Eleven is very successful because all activities done by the company correlate to their mission and vision statements. 7-Eleven works with many vendors, like Frito Lays, Coke, Pepsi Imperial and Wallace/Carey, all which bring products and services that the customers like and enjoy which gives it a competitive advantage against its competitors.
