• As mining shares hit four-month high, Britain’s FTSE 100 has an increase in price index- 4th march 2016 After hitting a multi-year low last month, for the first time in 2016 the FTSE 100 posted its third week of straight gain, on Friday the Britain’s mining index rises to a four month high as the Britain’s miners helps FTSE 100 to gain 0.8% rising to 6177.05 ("Britain 's FTSE Outperforms as Mining Shares Hit Four-Month High"). COMAPARISON OF SPORTS DIRECT AND FRESHNILLO PLC From the 5th of February 2016 to the 18th of March 2015, the share tracking of sports direct and Fresnillo Plc. was collected to an excel document as a continuation of the £12000 invested into sports direct in October 2015. There was a significant decrease of £4595 from the £12000 invested into sports direct from October 6th 2015 to the 8th of January 2016 which the reason will be stated below. The significant decrease from the £12000 invested into sports direct brought about the decision of changing shares to a new company so as to prevent further future loss. The new company invested in is Fresnillo which is a gold and silver mining company which operates in three (3) different companies
