Introduction This project plan has been written after task 1 and 2 have been completed. The project problem was outlined in September and market research followed. For the detailed project problem, a workshop was carried out to get the perspective from the inspectors and managers in Wrexham to outline their biggest concerns. Next market research was carried out to identify whether a CMM upgrade was suited or whether the new technology was needed to be purchased to overcome the problems. The decision was made that a CMM upgrade would be most suited so that would formulate the provisional project plan Details of these tasks will be commented on in detail in the final project report. By the end of this project, the issues with one of the CMM machines at Magellan Aerospace Wrexham will be addressed and successfully have new measures implemented. As mentioned in the proposal this is a continuation of a wider project to either replace or retrofit all the CMM machines within the business. This project plan will be using tools that will be actively used throughout the project to actively manage and be adjusted to suit the changing course of the project.
