On a sunny and bright April day, Tom Lewis was getting ready for work as a firefighter. His wife, Gabriella, was making breakfast for him and his kids. John and Lacy got together pretty well for a brother and sister. After eating breakfast, he told his wife and kids that he loved them. It seems like Tom has it all. Little did Tom know that his perfect life would change that day. Since Tom was at work and the kids didn't have school that day, Gabriella took John and Lacy to Red Line Diner. The diner was styled to look like it was in the fifty's and the kids loved it! Even though it was old, it had great food. "Mom," exclaimed John and Lacy at the same time. "Why is a man wearing a black hoodie placing a black ball outside the diner and lighting it on fire?" "What!" screamed Gabriella. "Everyone get down there is a bomb!" After the bomb went off, Tom and his co-workers arrived to put out the fire. All Tom could see was burning flames and ash. After they put out the fire, he had Spot, the fire dog, sniff the ruble to see if anyone was alive under the broken diner. There were no survivors. "I'm going to call Gabriella and see if her and the kids are ok," trembled Tom. Tom started to call Gabriella. Then he heard a ringing sound from a cellphone. The sound was coming from the ruble. Tom told Spot to smell for Gabriella and the kids. "If you smell them bark twice," Tom explained while trying not to cry. "If you don't smell them, then bark

Mr. Pignati let them explore his mundane house . John and Lorraine were mortified when they found a paper that said something about Mrs. Pignati. It said that she was dead. When they found out they did feel sorry for Mr. Pignati. Then, they both kept looking but then found a room full of pig collections.
“Nothing is wrong but I wished for a little puppy husky and then I heard a bark from in that room and that's why I yelled for you,” said John
“Hello? Is anyone there?” John looks around and sees nothing so he turns back to the fire… WHACK. Everything goes dark. Everything goes
So Tom did the only thing he could run right towards him. And at the last second he saw the guy pull something out of his pocket, something shiny. He had thought the man had pulled a gun. And right before he could get a good look, he was pulled in an alleyway by a mysterious figure. And he could barely hear a voice say, “Hurry”. And after hearing that and not knowing where it came from was hesitant before going through the door that had flew open. But he didn’t have much of a chance to go back out on the open streets where two men are running towards this alley to get him for no apparent reason. So he entered and when he finally got to the spot where two men were sitting, he heard the two men chasing him yelling for him to come out. So the two men sitting beside Tom said to go upstairs; that they’d deal with these two men. So he ran upstairs and heard the four men arguing. And then he heard two large bangs! He knew that the two nice men were shot, and heard those two murderers coming up the stairs for him. So he tried to barricade the door, but they were about to push through. So he looked for an exit, and the only place he saw was the window. So Tom took a deep

Leaving the motel on Highway 74 around 3:00 o’clock, Marlene drove faster than usual to get home ahead of Jerry and Andrew. Smiling, her thought lingered on the last few hours spent with her lover. Pulling into the garage, Marlene parked her Mercedes, brushed her hair put on fresh lipstick, before going into the house, relieved she was home when her husband and father-in-law arrived. Wanting to surprise them, she went into the kitchen to make a pot of coffee, sat down at the counter and glanced through the mail.
The light was shining on Evangeline's face as she opened her eyes. Her head was throbbing and as she looked around her, she didn't know where she was at. It wasn't until she saw Mason and Casey sleeping beside her on the pillows that she remembered everything. The dancing and food and the new hideout. The alcohol and the laughing. The bright light. The loud noises. Everything. The world has died back to normal, no longer having the sharp clarity it had the night before. Her mouth was really dry though, so she climbed down the ladder, trying not to wake the others. She quietly crept to the mini-fridge in the corner of the room and pulled out a glass of water. They didn't have any Tylenol, so this would have to do for now. She ungraciously chugged the bottle of water and sighed, plopping down on the nearest beanbag and closing her eyes.
Doctor Pax was on his way to the windmill after breakfast. The first person he met was Clemmie with Clog at her side. She stood in the glass tunnel and looked at Spud as he worked in the kitchen garden. The gardener was dressed for wet weather in a thick coat which reached below his knees. His waterproof trousers were tucked into long wellington boots. He waved his muddy hand, and Clemmie waved back with a smile.
