While the rest of the team had fallen asleep, I still laid awake lost in thought. We have already been on this plane for nineteen hours and thirty minutes. Which means we only have 20 minutes left on this horrible flight. I started to consider if we should've chosen a different airline, but then I realized I only dislike the 20 hours on this plane. I probably would've enjoyed this plane more if it wasn’t 20 hours. I don’t really know why, because I do enjoy the peacefulness I find on all planes. “Sophia!” exclaimed Allen, “ You’ve been zoned out for twenty minutes. We already landed.” “Oh, I’m sorry. I just got bored.” I responded “Well that’s fine, but we have to go to the baggage claim, report to the hotel, and then check into the …show more content…
When we went back to the hotel we could not find him. We had the spare key to his room and saw that he had never come home the night before.
“When was the last time you saw him?” I asked Sarah.
“Well the last time I saw him he was at the hotel.” replied Michael.
The team kept searching for him, but he was nowhere to be found. The next day Michael, Sarah, and myself reported to the digging site to begin our work day. The other teams dug in the digging site and discovered some gold cups and many other treasures. As I walked to a place to start shoveling. I saw staircases that led into a wide door. The doors easily opened up to a mass room. I told Michael about my discovery so we began to search the room as a team, and came to the conclusion that this was the tomb of a king. We saw footsteps, but they didn't lead anywhere. Someone discovered this over the time period of us arriving in Egypt to now, but they did not report it. Michael and I reported that there had been recent footsteps in the tomb to Sarah. When we came back to the tomb we realized that the door had been closed, and soon heard a rapid knocking coming from the inside. We cautiously opened the door to find Allen panicking on the inside.
I asked him what he was doing in there and he replied with, “ I’ve been in here since last night, because I became stuck after the door shut behind me. I tried to contact you, but there was no signal through my phone. I, I had a panic attack and I think passed
I said “finally were Home.” Then we brought him inside the house. The reason he came inside was because he was
doors but did not find the keys to the doors. So he went back to the bedroom and looked. But
I led her to the shelter that I had created before it got dark. ‘Now we can sleep,’ I said with excitement. ‘But I don’t want to sleep, I want to stay up ALL NIGHT LONG,’ Ella complained. ‘I know you do, and so do I… But we have a big day ahead of us tomorrow, flying and all, and you should probably get some rest, I know I will
prison cell, he shoved us in and then closed the bar door. I heard a familiar voice behind us
Hours later I wake hearing a large bang I jumped out of bed and ran to the door only to see my drunk stepdad stumble through the door. He catches his balance and looks at me then says “what the hell are are you staring at?”. I shake my head in disappointment and just go back into my room to wait for my mom. Once again hours later I heard the door open
I woke up and looked over to where Erik's mattress was, he was gone but I wasn't surprised. I laid my head back down and awoke about 15 minutes later. Erik was sitting on his mattress looking in my direction smiling.
I am your pilot this morning, and I will be taking you to Newark, New Jersey. The flight will be about three hours. Sit back, relax and have a good flight. I looked to my left to see my parents on their phones, not paying attention to any of their surroundings. There was a long line of people in the aisle waiting to take their seats, each person pushing large suitcases. In the row across for us, Jack was sitting in the row seat listening to music. Since there was four of us Jack had to sit by himself with two other strangers but he didn’t mind. The engines suddenly started to roar as I started to get pushed gently back into my seat. The front of the plane started to rise from the ground and as soon as I noticed we were up in the air. I took a deep breathe as I took my backpack out under the seat. I grabbed my new book “Looking for Alaska” and began to read. One of my friends gave it to me as a going away gift because she knew I loved to read. After a while, my mind slowly started to drift off onto a whole different planet. I was still in shock that I just left all my friends and I was moving to New Jersey. The whole situation was not processing through my head and I thought that we were just going on vacation to New Jersey, and we were not actually about to live there. Even thinking about having to make new friends and joining a new soccer team sent chills down my body. I am always shy around new people and now I have to break out of my
The closet was musty, small, and had a door with little slots to look out of. I had a key to his apartment and I had left some items in his apartment, which he would not return, so I came to
When we arrived at his place he held the door open for me and then followed me in. He showed me around his place, it was nice and quiet here, not a bunch of rowdy teenagers yelling across the room. When he showed me his room, he went in and sat on the bed. He was awfully quiet now and I wondered why he had stopped talking.
He said we need to stay the night at the airport if we were going to help the problem. So we came in the airport and went to our room which I didn’t know where at the airport.
All of a sudden we heard footsteps and it sounded like he knew where we were but instead he walked in my moms room. I thought to myself what if it doesn't work what would happen to us? I thought about the question for a long time until a
My mom’s friend went in to talk about our room then we finally got into the hotel and into our room.
Suddenly we hear footsteps in our room, we glance to see who this person was he then noticed us under the bed he grabs me and my brother and ties a bag on our face and takes us to his car
I kept looking for him out the front window, biting my nails every five seconds. Once he got to our house he came inside and started to write a note. I was guessing he was writing the note to tell my mom we were with him and not abducted my aliens. Since I overthink everything I was starting to get nervous about my mom not knowing where we would be at.
" Y'ARE very snug in here," piped old Mr. Woodifield, and he peered out of the great, green leather armchair by his friend the boss's desk as a baby peers out of its pram. His talk was over; it was time for him to be off. But he did not want to go. Since he had retired, since his... stroke, the wife and the girls kept him boxed up in the house every day of the week except Tuesday. On Tuesday he was dressed and brushed and allowed to cut back to the City for the day. Though what he did there the wife and girls couldn't imagine. Made a nuisance of himself to his friends, they supposed ... Well, perhaps so. All the same, we cling to our last pleasures as the tree clings to its last leaves. So there sat old Woodifield, smoking a cigar and
