Have you ever been so scared that you didn't know what to do. Well I have and i'm here to tell you about my story. My story is about the summer that my dad had a heart attack. On july 20th 2016 my father had a heart attack. This is how the day went before the event. I was over at my friends house and when my dad came to take me and my friend to his house her mom said to me “Do you know if your dad is sick because he looks kind of sick”. When my friend and I got home my dad decided to mow the lawn. It was like 90-100 degrees outside. About an hour had passed and it was time to eat dinner. My dad got in the house and said that he wasn't feeling good and he laid down on the couch my stepmom ( sherrie ) said “We’re going to take your dad to the hospital” My dad now was making weird noises that I later found out that he was having a seizure. But then and there experiencing that I was freaking out and felt scared at the same time. At that time i had know idea what was going on and it really worried me. My stepmom was calling the police and it just made me nervous even more than I was. Then next thing i know there are two ambulances and two police cars two fire trucks then another ambulance showed up and that freaked me out even more I was just crying really bad right in the middle of my front yard sitting on the grass hoping that everything would be okay hoping that i would wake up and that would have been a dream but no it was real life something bad was really
About 4 years ago I woke up to get ready for school and I could tell something was seriously wrong.Little did i know my grandfather was dying. My mom had tears in her eyes and I really did not think anything about it. And what was really weird was my dad was gone. I got in my moms car with all my stuff, ready for
I remember waking up that day and that feeling in my stomach, knowing what was about to happen. Growing up I knew about my father's sickness. My family, I recall, was always supportive. No one ever thinks about how one day, everyone you’re around for years, can just vanish. I cherished my friends as I was growing up. I lived there for a majority of my life, up until fourth grade. I remember sitting at a neighbor's house and having the mother come into the room and inform me that I need to be home swiftly. As I ran home, my head was crowded with thoughts to the point where I could not even think about why I was supposed to be home quickly. That day marked the transition of what would be the biggest change in my life. As by dad became sicker,
We were all scared. My grandpa, dad and I running straight into the track. The only thought there was in my mind was, he isn 't okay. Making sure that he turns over and lays on his back as someone calls 911, I left to go get the cart from the trailer. As I left the track to get it, I start crying, fearing the worst. I run back the track and have my dad help me put the car on the trailer cart and pull it back to the trailer and run back to my uncle. As I got back to my uncle, he was talking some intolerable words. After a few minuets, I heard my name from him.
I had lacrosse practice on the hottest day of summer. The best day was going to jump off a cliff and die. Practice was done and I was hungry for food. I got in my mom’s car and asked my mom to go somewhere and get some food. We went to Taco Bell. I finished and was ready to go home and get a shower. We were going down the road and suddenly my mom got a phone call from my aunt. As soon as my mom started to talk to my aunt she started to cry and break down. She
Then my dad come out my dad told me to get in the car because it was chilly outside. I was feeling nerves then my dad told me the news. Then
We got in my dad’s truck and headed to our house. I still remember this like the day was yesterday my dad turned to me and my brother and said “I hope you boys never have to experience anything like this ever again In your life’s.” We got back to our house and it was perfectly fine. A tree fell across the road which would become our tree house for weeks to come. There was no power what so ever so at night there was no air or lights. My dad pulled a mattress into the living room and me, mom, and my brother laid on it and my dad would sit up all night basically fanning us with a huge piece of card
September 27th 2009. I was on my dad’s weekend and my mom was in the hospital for a weeks. I would visit her every day and sometimes bring her flowers. But on september 27th I woke up and walked into my living room and my dad was sitting on the couch looking sad. I asked what was wrong and then a knock was heard on the door it was my step dad and half brother. My step dad had puffy eyes he was crying. He told me to sit down and my brother came out and sat next to me. My dad looked at us and he spoke up your mother had just passed this morning. I was shocked I was hurt I was scared.I didn’t know if i should cry or run away. I’ve learned that losing someone you love is tough.
When I got my family was around our wooden table. My dad on his soft voice said “ I don’t think your grandpa will go through one more night, you need to call him” he cried. I felt like I couldn’t do it, felt so week and a huge hole in my stomach, something I’ve never felt before, I grabbed the phone and when I was about to call, the phone ringed, I passed the phone to my dad, It was my aunt sobbing and barely able to speak, then she said “ he passed away, I’m sorry honey” I couldn’t believe it I didn’t even had the chance to say
I remember being awaken by the loud commotion going on from the living room, so I decided to go check. I went out calling for my parents, but to my surprise, I only saw my mom on the phone crying from the reflection of a mirror. I wondered where my dad was. I got closer towards the living room and stood by the wall. I witnessed my dad sitting down on the floor having trouble to breath complaining about chest pain while my mom stood next to him. I closed my eyes in fear. I then heard something calling me to open my eyes. It was a siren that got louder and louder each second. I stood up and saw red lights shining through the window. There was a knock at the door and my mom went to open the door. Two men and a woman came through the door in navy
My dad called my friend’s dad and told him what happened and asked him if I could stay with him. He agreed and assured my dad that I would be safe. My dad looked at me with a sense of worry and concern. I could tell that he was panicking too so I hugged him. He smiled at me and said “I’m so proud of you. You have matured and grown so much” I learned
When i was just entering seventh my dad had a heart attack but earlier that day me and my dad were fixing the pump in the canal so were out there all day it was starting to get dark and we went to turn on the sprinklers and my mom and dad started to argue about something so i went inside a heard my mom start yelling i ran out there i and i saw my dad laying on the ground having a seizure my mom started to do cpr and we had to cut off his waders so pulled out my knife and cut them off my mom said his pulse stopped but my mom started to do cpr again and his pulse was back the ambulance got there and all my dad could say is i love you son but that night i stayed at the hospital with him i stayed there for two days with him
Baseball season was on the horizon and I needed to replace my bag so we drove to Academy. On the way to Academy I felt really tired but who doesn't when their sick. I started to walk into Academy and made it fifteen yards before everything went dark. I woke up being rushed into the ER hearing a lot of unfamiliar voices and the feeling of blood coming out of the side of my head. I was told that I had a seizure, shortly after that a familiar voice came in it was my grandma and behind her my mom and dad. I a matter of hours I had the situation explained and 8 staples in my head. Once moved to a regular room I was able to wash the blood out of my hair and take a shower.
When I got upstairs, my dad was not home so I went up to the garage to wait for him. When he pulled up, his face was pale, he was sweating as if he was a dog, and was complaining about chest pain. I ran downstairs as fast as I could and told uncle Terri (former
We were balancing along beams on the side of their driveway. We were doing hurkeys and high kicks on the trampoline. Then when I was on the beams I heard loud sirens that was very close to me. An ambulance was going to my house. I was getting really scared and anxious to know what happen and who it was. Then I saw my mom walk out looking just as scared as me. The paramedics got out the bed and pushed it into my house
February twenty-third 2010 was just a regular ordinary day. I was on my way to class on this cold February afternoon, when my phone rung. It was my cousin on the other end telling me to call my mom. I could not figure out what was wrong, so I quickly said okay and I hung up and called my mom. When my mom answered the phone I told her the message but I said I do not know what is wrong. My mom was at work and could not call right away, so I took the effort to call my cousin back to see what was going on. She told me that our uncle was in the hospital and that it did not look good. Starting to tear up I pull over in a fast food restaurant parking lot to listen to more to what my cousin had to say. She then tells me to tell my mom to get to
