“I can’t wait!” Bailey exclaimed, “This is my first Escape Room!” “You’re going to love it. They are so much fun!” Emme told her. Emme had been to the Escape Room once before, but now they were saving the Titanic from sinking. “Welcome to the Escape Room.” “Oh here we go!” Bailey whispered. “Today you will be trying to stop the Titanic from sinking. The engine has been flooded with water, so you have to activate the backup engine to keep the ship afloat until a rescue ship can come. Have fun in the rooms!” finished the monotone voice after explaining the instructions. “Here we go!” Emme squealed. The girls entered the room.

“What do we do now?” asked Bailey. Emme inspected the room. The room was small with pipes running all over the walls. There was a bow that the pipes were running through. There was a large key on the wall that was attached to the pipes. “I know what to do,” Emme said. After some inspection of the key and the pipes, she moved the key along the pipes and through the box. She took the key off the last pipes and unlocked the door on the wall. “Nice,” Bailey said examining the door after taking a last glance in the room they had come from.
“Hurry up!”
“I’m coming.”
“Look at that!”
In front of them was a large room with a bunk bed, a desk, a bulletin board, a briefcase, and a closet. A vault stood in the back corner.
“Woah,” Bailey said in astonishment.
“I know, right!” Emme told her. “Okay let’s get to work. Here’s where we make some choices
The room was nice. It had a living space, a bathroom and two large beds. Eric felt lucky enough to have a room with a window, facing the city. And turns out, he also got the bed by the window
The man, with a little smile, said, “Sure, she’s right in that room. The door is right in front. Over there.” He pointed to the door.
“Tada!” Melody exclaimed, “This is your new room...I know it 's not much yet - "
Aiko fiddled with her lock as she attempted opening it again. Gently turning to each different number in turn.
Opening my eyes groggily, I was greeted to a darkness that clouded my vision. As I looked around, it was obvious that there wouldn't be any point trying to catch a glimpse of light in an empty, quiet place like this. Trying to find a way out was also fruitless. It didn’t matter which direction I took, as I walked it seemed to me as if I were walking in circles. A cold, static like feeling ran down my back as I still continued to wander around in hopes of finding a way out.
I headed upstairs, four rooms where up here with one of them being the toilet. Joshua told me that my room was at the end. Walking there made the wooden floor creak. I almost thought the floor would collapse below me.
One day, on a rather hasty Wednesday morning, Bernie and his family were getting ready to leave the house in a hurry. They put on their shoes, threw on a shirt, brushed their teeth, and were finally ready to go. Bernies’s sister, Joann, was on her way to get in the car, and, as she opened the door, received quite the scare from her sibling, or at least what was meant to be a scare.
“I don’t know.” I shake my head, rubbing my eyes. “I thought I saw someone opening the door.” Derik gets off of the piano bench and creeps over to the doorway. He grabs the edge of the door and opens it slowly. A hand suddenly reaches out and grabs Derik by the wrist. He starts and I almost scream, but I realize that I recognize those perfectly French manicured nails. It takes me two seconds to walk from the piano to the door and by that time, Brielle has already started dragging Derik down the hall.
Silencing and isolating people has always been, andSilencing and isolating people has always been, and still continues to be a way to conserve normalities in a society. It minimizes the fear that an outsider may change the typical mindset and values a person is brought up to have within a society. In the short story “Caged” by an unknown author, the elders of the village imprisoned Charity for breaking the rules of the village in hopes that the other women of the village could learn from her mistakes and would not follow her footsteps. Charity’s imprisonment failed to be the example that the elder’s were aiming towards.
He took Jack to his office. At the end of the hall. The door opened to a vivid chaotic room with papers on
Gently setting the padlock and the keys down on a small counter to her right as she entered, Demetria turned on the lights and looked around. There was absolutely no reason to have the door locked, unless Carter was afraid of someone stealing something from his basement. The room seemed nicely furnished, with a large TV on one wall, a leather couch, and a pool table. The kind of area you'd see in any young man's house, if he could afford it. Spotting a minibar nearby, Demetria smiled to herself. There was another door leading into what she assumed was another room nearby.
I stared in wonder, inside was a long corridor, lit by a glowing light, to the left were weapon racks and to the right was an alchemy lab. Beyond that to the left was an underground bathing pool with 5 built in seats, continually refilled by water streaming in from above. Opposite this were a full set of forging, smelting and weapon crafting gear, beyond that was an alchemy table and a set of empty book shelves. I was in love with the place already and determined it would be my home. Opening a locked door at the end of the hall revealed a bed in the middle of the room, several chests and to one side a kitchen area and the other were wardrobes. Behind the bed was further water falling gently from the ceiling and draining away through
Inside the room, Mr. Nachton Arthbutnott sat waiting in eager anticipation of her arrival. Although his medical record stated eighty years as his chronological age, his biological age seemed closer to sixty years, according to his laboratory tests and fit, muscular appearance. Despite his long Santa Claus beard, button nose, and rosy red cheeks, he was anything but jolly for he had a curious penitent expression on his face. Although usually laconic, he was loquacious on one particular topic. With brooding owl eyes, he searched Surina’s face as she sat down at her desk. Try as she might, she had difficulty remembering ever meeting the dour Nachton Arthbutnott.
“Where are we?This is amazing, Varian. Why, didn’t we come here earlier?” Thomas looked around, amazed at the magnificent insides of the hotel. Glass chandeliers hung from the
They entered the building and headed to the quad to the left. Max took her into a room she didn 't recognize.
