Discussion Questions 1. What was your overall reaction to this video? ADDIE Video This is the first time I have ever hear or see the ADDIE evaluation process. I found it to very interesting and useful. The evaluation process help me put a systematic structure to the online training I am developing. The type of training that I will be creating is of the technological nature, and involves many software programs. The rapid prototyping, explained as the idea of continual feedback while creating instructional material, is well suited for the ever-changing software programs that I will be using. 2. Test and assignment scores, student participation, surveys, and discussions with students will assist with determining the relative successes and failures of the program as well as areas that need improvement.
After spending a lot of time observing the ADDIE model I think this type of structure is very beneficial in helping me keep consistency across my training plan. Analyse, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate are all great key steps to keep focus for course development. If I approach any lesson plan and implement the ADDIE model it’s going to be beneficial in giving my plan a good foundation and I can build around it.
