2015 AP Literature Summer Reading assignment Edgar LISA North scholars will choose either Wuthering Heights or The Namesake to read for AP Lit summer reading. We will use Google Classroom to discuss both books over the course of the summer. Each scholar will complete a CSRQ’d DIDLS with evidence from the text. Read, annotate, and discuss the text Submit a CSRQ (Complete Sentence that Restates/Reflects the Question) DIDLS of the text. D.I.D.L.S. A mnemonic for literary analysis Diction: the denotative and connotative meanings of words! What specific words did the author choose? Consider her word choice compared to another. Why did the author choose that particular word?
