A Description of What Really Happens

Abortion is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, most often performed during the first 28 weeks of pregnancy. Many believe that killing a child is considered an abortion. It’s something that should be outlawed, not only in the U.S., but everywhere. There are many methods for abortion to be done and even at home methods, but you should think about what you are doing. If you don’t want a child, don’t have sex. It’s that simple. Too many teenages and even older adults have children when all they really want is companionship and a closeness with the opposite sex.

Another method is Dilation and Evacuation which is usually performed when the fetus is up to 18 weeks (Guttmacher, N/D p.1). Forceps are inserted into the uterus, grabbing and twisting the baby’s body to dismember it (Guttmacher, N/D p.1). If the head is too large it must be crushed in order to remove it (Guttmacher, N/D. P.1).
There are more than 1.1 million abortions per year in just the United States (Guttmacher, N/D p. 1). Within those 1.1 million, 51% of those abortion are performed on women who are younger than age 25 (Guttmacher N/D, p.1). If those are the numbers in the United States alone, just think of all the abortions around the world.
If you were pregnant and you had to chose with the option of having your child and having everyone from your family to your friends to people you do not even know or not having a child and living with the guilt that you aborted that child, what would you chose?
