Abortions should not be illegal because it’s the choice of the person who is carrying the fetus if they want to keep the fetus, and not someone else. Not everyone who gets pregnant is financially, mentally, stable or have the thought of having children. Other times, pregnancies can be an unfortunate surprise. Abortions should not be illegal because some woman get raped, some women can’t afford to have children, and most women are choosing to have an abortion than to give the baby up to adoption.
One hundred fifty thousand abortions happen every day, that’s one hundred and five abortions every minute around the world. A person who has had an abortion will feel many emotions. An aborted baby could have been adopted by a family. An abortion kills an innocent baby that could have been adopted by a family. Abortions should be illegal.
As one has said abortion is taking away the life of an innocent human being not only a human being but a defenseless baby. If one agrees with this or not, these are full grown babies that feel pain, cry, and bleed. They try to escape these instruments that take the lives of the babies. You could compare taking their
Medically Induced Abortions are Murder Abortion is the purposeful termination of a fetus, either naturally or medically (Abortion 2). In this instance, an unborn fetus perishes either through natural causes such as a miscarriage, or by medically induced methods (McFall 188). Medically induced methods are the most controversial of the two
Dawn Hill is a lady born in the 1940s. She started getting molested by her own stepfather at the age of 11, and he started raping her at 13. She got impregnated by him when she was 13, and she couldn’t get an abortion because they were illegal in the 1950s. Her mother drove her all the way to Mexico where anyone could get an abortion for a price. Illegal abortions are no the simple and safe vacuum abortions that are used in today’s society. No. First they use a large metal dilator to open up the cervix. Then they use a curette to scrap away the entire lining of her uterus with the sharp side. Can you imagine the pain she had to endure all because abortions were illegal? Well, today I will inform you about the controversy surrounding abortion, followed by what the Pro-Choice activist are saying, and what the Pro-Life activist are saying. First, let me give you a little background information on abortion itself.
It is not acceptable during any circumstances to decide for a human being that they should not serve their life here on earth. A child’s life is much more precious than one’s own selfish desires. It is known as murder when an innocent life is taken, and no one should bear this type of mistreatment. Even if the child was a product of rape or incest, it would still be considered unjust to take an innocent human being. The child that would never get a chance to see life, and possibly be the solution to many people’s issues would never get a chance to take its first breath of air. Just as rape should be considered a capital punishment, so shall abortion because killing an innocent is a punishable
ABORTION Biomedical Ethics PHIL 235 EC Sunday April 16th, 2006 WINTER 2006 "An abortion is the deliberate killing of a human being. As such, it is a murder. When you kill an unborn child, you rob it of its whole future life. Therefore it is never morally permissible and it should be illegal."
Is abortion murder? In my opinion, yes. Abortion has become very popular in the U.S. and is becoming more morally acceptable. About 54% of the U.S. people think that abortion should become legal. A woman can usually have an abortion up to 24 weeks of pregnancy. In these first 24 weeks of pregnancy the baby already has toes, fingers, skins, fingernails, hair, taste buds, eye brows, eye lashes, if it's a girl a uterus has already formed, bone marrow starts making blood cells, and tons more is happening and forming inside your body. Even with all the happening, people still want to murder poor, innocent babies.
ABORTION IS MURDER “There are nearly 1.2 million abortions performed in the United States each year” (Operation Rescue, 2014). That was 1.2 million innocent lives that were ended before they even had a chance to begin. Abortion has been legal for decades now, and it is time to put a stop to all the murdering of unborn children. This senseless killing of an unborn child needs to be recognized for what it truly is, and that is legalized murder. Abortions should be made illegal in the United States because it is taking the life of an innocent person, there are other options out there and lastly abortions are not only harming the unborn child but also cause harm to the mother.
In the Christian worldview, it is frowned upon to murder because in the Bible it indicates that “You shall not murder” (Exodus 20:13). The only thing that God allowed us to do is multiply and that is what Susan chose to do but if she aborts the baby then she will be going against God’s word. Choosing to abort the baby is basically judging the baby because you are deciding the baby should not be born because it’s going to be different. In the Bible, it indicates that no one should judge each other because we were all created by the same Sovereign Leader “There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you--who are you to judge your neighbor?” (James 4:12). In God’s eyes, every human He has created is the same
What is murder? Murder is the killing of another person without justification or valid excuse… The taking of an innocent’s life. We are taught our whole lives that murder is wrong and it is punished with prison or even death for the murderer’s themselves. The taking
Abortion is the ending of pregnancy before birth and is morally wrong. An abortion results in the death of an embryo or a fetus. Abortion destroys the lives of helpless, innocent children and is illegal in many countries. By aborting these unborn infants, humans are hurting themselves; they are not allowing themselves to meet these new identities and unique personalities. Abortion is very simply wrong. Everyone is raised knowing the difference between right and wrong. Murder is wrong, so why is not abortion? People argue that it is not murder if the child is unborn. Abortion is murder since the fetus being destroyed is living, breathing and moving. Why is it that if an infant is destroyed a month before the birth, there is no problem,
Abortion is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy that is often performed during the first 28 weeks of pregnancy. As life begins at conception, unborn babies are human beings and thus have the right to life. The federal Unborn Victim Of Violence Act that was made to protect unborn babies from murder states that anybody intentionally killing an unborn baby should be punished for killing a human being. Abortion is a murder because it is taking away someone’s life. Even though the baby isn’t born yet, the fetus in the mother’s womb still feels pain while being aborted. No person, not even a mother, has the right to hurt someone. To keep a child, who can’t even speak, from growing and from living is a murder.
Abortion is Murder Numerous times throughout the past, a woman has wept herself to sleep or woke up in the middle of the night with horrible panic attacks that she cannot seem to overcome. She lives with such guilt and wonders what life would be like today if only she had made a different choice. Life is full of choices, and unfortunately people sometimes make choices that will haunt them for the rest of their lives. The saddest part is that many times we allow other people to influence the choices we make, and those choices are not always in our best interest. That is exactly what happened to this woman. At a young age she became pregnant by a man that she thought loved her as much as she loved him. Her fears of telling him she was pregnant made her uneasy, but never in her dreams did she expect to hear the words that came out of his mouth when she told him. He was not accepting of the pregnancy and persuaded her to have an abortion. He brainwashed her into thinking that an abortion was the best option at the time because they were both young and were not ready to become parents. She was convinced that she had to go through with the abortion, even though deep in her heart she was hurting and hoped he would change his mind. She was told that he would be by her side, support her, and that their love for each other would remain the same. The love that she had for him caused her to not think clearly as she believed all that he told her. So she chose to do what he asked of her
In the world today abortion takes place every second of every day. Abortion is a big topic in this generation because of, uncontrolled hormones, the miss connection of love, responsibility and what it brings to the table. They lack to fully understand the presents and laws to childhood care because yet they are still children themselves. When we misuse this we tend to fall into wrong decision making of abortion. Abortion ties into what some say the killing of a human life. We fail to realize the fact of when does life begin.
