According to the Merriam Webster, an abortion is an “induced expulsion of a human fetus” (Merriam-Webster's dictionary, 1977). Although this might not sound bad, if a person really does their research, they will soon find out that it is. Ray Comfort is a Jewish man who has a great concern in the matter of people forgetting one of the greatest tragedies in the human race: the Holocaust. According to dictioanary.com the holocaust is the systematic mass slaughter of European Jews in Nazi concentration camps during World War II (dictionary.com, 2017). Many people had forgotten the holocaust, and because of that he is also afraid of people not caring about one of the greatest tragedies going on today: abortion.
Although many of the people he encounters are pro-choice at the beginning, towards the end he is able to change their minds. While asking people questions he is very patient and listens to what they have to say. Although in some ways it can seem as if he was being really pushy in trying to get his point across, he still got his point across and connected to people in so many different ways. He goes and searches for people to find out what they know about Hitler, the Holocaust, and to convince them to choose to be pro-life when it comes to abortion. He talks to an assortment of people and questions them about Hitler and what they know about him. It was shocking that so many people responded by saying they didn’t know who he was or what he did.
