Introduction
Cheating in school and colleges has always been a major concern for the teachers and educational professionals. Cheating or copying someone else’s work or idea is called plagiarism or “the theft of intellectual property has been around as long as human has produced work of art and research” [1]. Plagiarism is a serious crime because it is an academic dishonesty that is giving away false information or misguiding someone [2]. Plagiarism has been there from the very start in one form or another but its percentage is increasing with the passage of time. So what are the main types of plagiarism, factors that are playing role in the increase of this major issue especially at school and college level and How to avoid plagiarism among the students? What is the role of plagiarism detection software in student’s life?
The aim of this paper is to inform the educators about the main factors associated with plagiarism and their different types, also to inform teacher about the use of plagiarism detection software so that they can be familiarize with these computer based software, which can easily detect the instances of plagiarism inside a paper. But the goal is not only the detection it is that the teachers should educated the student about how to avoid it and ask him know where he plagiarized and why he plagiarized?

Plagiarism can be of different forms like
1) Direct Plagiarism:
There are many countries in the world and every country is unique and individualistic with many exclusive qualities. Everyone in the world has a culture but it is not easy to accept or agree with other people’s culture. Acculturation is “the process of acceptance resulting for the contact between two cultures, or an individual interacting in at least two cultures” (517). As she builds relationships with the woman’s, she is acculturated.
Plagiarism is using someone else’s work, words, production, researches and ideas without the approval or the acknowledgment of the writer or producer, and claiming the credit for himself. Many reasons and factors are attributed for the use of plagiarism and could be cultural, historical, linguistic, environmental and educational background. Plagiarism is a form of an academic dishonesty, academic misconduct, and a digital cheating. It is declared to be an unacceptable legal act and institutional regulations. And universities, schools, and instructors do not only need to decrease plagiarism, but they must also affect positively on students writings, increase the understanding of how to use digital technology to facilitate their academic writing.
In this article that I found it discusses plagiarism, on where it originated from, It also is where it gets its name from and what it exactly means. To me this article was important to my worksheet paper. It explains the importance of not plagiarizing and it also goes over the different ways of avoiding plagiarism.
