Accepting America's Gift To My Generation

This quote shows that people can be different then they can be, people can ultimately change for the worst.

The Second Amendment says that all citizens should have the right to bear arms, and some people are trying to take away what the military fought for. America’s gift to my generation is the right to bear arms or the Second Amendment. Because of this law, we have the right to defend ourselves hunt, and have fun. The military fought for these rights so we should keep them.

Have you ever wondered about America's gift to your generation. Have you taken taken the time to think about any gifts America has given you to your generation. Do you have any family members that have fought in any of the world wars or any wars. The few gifts I thought of is the gift or rights, education, speech, and opinion.

Have you ever thought what gifts America has given us? America has given us so many gifts, throughout generations. We are able to wear what we want to school, we don’t have to wear uniforms! We can have as many babies as we want! The best thing that we don’t have anymore is slavery. America’s gift to my generation is freedom because we can wear what we what to school, get married to whoever you want, and job choices.

America has given us many things. Many things, that most people take for granted. Things such as our freedom, and schools. What many people don’t realize is that without our soldiers, fallen heros, and veterans, America probably wouldn’t be the same as it was today. We might not have gotten our independence, and would’ve still been under control of the British. We might have lost World War one or two, or any war for that matter.

Sometimes something as simple as a tree can symbolize America. I think the people in this country resemble the apples, fresh and ready to be picked to be taken around the world. However, a specific process is required to produce a healthy apple. It starts with the roots of the tree, which represent a strong foundation and good education. All the apples in the tree need the roots for key nutrients. The branches represent the thousands of life paths that are opened up to us in America. After studying, people set off on these paths to pursue a career. Unlimited opportunities for a good education and careers are America’s gift to my generation.

The message that America passes to its youth is that it does not matter what you believe in as long as you are doing what you love. So with that mindset they can become anything that they want.

In this essay I will tell you what America’s gift to my generation. I will be writing about the different electronics, games, rights, veterans, and solar power. The most important thing that was given to my generation was my teacher Mrs. Evjen or Jody Evjen.

America has contributed many things to my generation. America is truly lucky to have troops and veterans, for they have been amicable to my generation. One thing they have given is improved women's rights. Before my generation, women weren’t totally equal, but people before me have worked on this.

In Lee Greenwood’s words,”Im proud to be American where at least I know I'm free.”It is an honor being an American knowing I am protected by my brother and a lot of other military troops.I know I am free because we fought to take slavery away and now there are now slaves so everybody is free from slavery.There are still so many reasons why it is a gift to be an American in my generation.

What does the military do for or nation. The military does a whole lot for our country so we can be safe. They do things like fighting in a war or helping clean up during natural disasters. The military does those things to make sure we are safe and happy.

There is a bunch of things that America has gave to my generation,but the one that stands out is freedom. Freedom is what America gave to me, it is a major thing to have freedom cause you look at these 3rd world countries and some of them have very little right’s but most of them do not rights at all so that's why i think is a gift for my generation . ‘‘one flag, one land, one hand, one nation evermore’’! -Oliver Wendell Holmes. The reason i chose this quote is because, it represents America's independents and why it’s the best nation. One gift of freedom America has given to me id the freedom of speech. Now you can get in trouble from what you say ,but unlike other nations you won’t be killed from what you say.

I like to believe that when our forefathers were signing the constitution, they had a dream for America. They had a dream of equality and of freedom. They envisioned an America that would have equal rights for all people and genders. I am happy to say that due to the people of the civil rights movement and other progressive movements, I believe that we have achieved the America that was envisioned by our founding fathers.
