In Order to achieve my goals, I need to get accepted into High Tech High School. There are many goals that I want to achieve when I am accepted into this high school. First, I want to join this high school because I want to get the best quality of learning. Secondly, I want to join because of the variety of courses, and the extracurricular activities. Finally, and most importantly I want to achieve my most important goal of becoming my dream career.
As I stated before that I want to be accepted to this High School because the quality of learning is really high. As I was checking the school’s courses it seems that it is pretty academic, and the standards are set high for both the students and the teachers. I am one of those students who wants

For example, I personally like science, technology, and Social Studies, which all are included in the courses. Also, there are many clubs that I could get involved with like science, and technology related clubs. I am sure that when I get accepted I know that I will be interested in joining one of these clubs. That variety of courses for sure is going to bring people of different styles and bring them together in one school. That will make it even better since I will meet new people of different styles.
Moreover, the main goal I want to achieve is for me to learn a lot about my main interest or my future career. My future career is to be a doctor or a surgeon. In both cases, I want to get the basics down. Since this will be my major I want to take a lot of science courses. Also, science relates to a lot of other subjects mainly math, and technology, which both are in the courses. By being accepted into this school this brings me one step closer to accomplishing my dream goal.
To conclude with, I want to say that this school is highly rated. It is also one of the top high schools in Jersey City. The quality of learning is awesome, there are many different courses, and it is hopefully going to bring me even closer to the most important goal in life for me.Go figure it is the best and who would not want to join. I wish I am one of those people who will be a freshmen next year in this
New Jersey Institute of Technology has always been my number one choice for school. They offered so much to students such as myself. For example, they have over 100 clubs and a many fraternities. Before I came to NJIT, I attended Bayonne high school in Bayonne, New Jersey. It was an amazing experience, one that I would have no regrets repeating. It’s the largest high school in Bayonne, my graduating class was over 700 students and the school in general has 3000 students. Being so large it had many opportunities that other high schools wouldn’t have. It had a team for every sport that you’ve ever heard of, and 20 additional ones that no one knows about. In addition, Bayonne offered a myriad of AP classes to students who met certain requirements, thus giving many opportunities to high school students to get a taste of college-level classes. So even from before I entered into the campus on the first day NJIT was already different, however, it is not different in a bad way.
From what I have been through, my current high school experience has not been meeting my expectations. After speaking with friends and parents, I believe that Archbishop Mitty High School can provide the experience that I am seeking. One aspect I am looking for is a larger campus, school community and a safer environment. I feel that the size and location of Archbishop Mitty will help enhance my learning experience. Something else I am looking for in my new high school experience is more school spirit and camaraderie. I have attended many sports events at Archbishop Mitty and I have thoroughly enjoyed the enthusiasm and spirit of the environment. One last reason is that I am looking for a school that can provide a larger class selection with
I believe that attending Berks Catholic High School would increase the possibility of me being accepted into such a prestigious school. Teenagers who attend schools in the Reading School District view Berks Catholic High School students as “smart” and “educated.” The students who attend Reading High claim they are taught things they have already learned in the past. As a student, I would not accept that. I believe that we should all be pushed to our limits because learning is not being re-taught something we know about. Learning is the knowledge we earn through the experience of being taught. Our minds are like sponges- they absorb information. How can we absorb information if there is no information given to us to
Lastly, the College offers various courses regarding forestry, biology, and Earth Science. The courses are fun and the
Some of the reasons that I believe that I would be a great member of the Manhattan Hunter Science high school is because I am an incredibly social child and is always looking to make new friends. I am is a positive risk taker and a great "team-player" because I am always looking to help my peers who might be struggling. Whenever I do poorly on tests on any exam, I become persistent and work harder to improve. In addition, Manhattan Hunter Science is early college high school that focuses much on science and achieving success for its students. According to Manhattan Hunter Science, “Our mission is to bring alive the power of curiosity and passion in each and every student and to help maximize their academic potential.” With such quality standards
STEM or Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math was started last year in this school. In STEM you get to learn about all these topics by testing experiments and researching. STEM helps everyone learn for the future and helps them become innovators, leaders, educators, and researchers.
I would love to attend Wake STEM Early College High School because I believe it will give me a head start on my learning after the high school level. Your program will improve my college experience and save thousands of dollars in college tuition by giving me an associates degree and high school diploma upon graduation. I am also exceedingly interested in a career in science or mathematics. I have always been focused on learning science and math because it is something I love to do and I can have a successful career in the future by using those skills. I understand that attending this prestigious school will require a certain level of maturity and willingness to work hard. As an 8th grader at West Lake Middle School, I am a member of the National
High school is one of the most important things to a student's life. It is the foundation
Although it may not be the biggest school, with the most students I think that gives it an edge over other schools. This small town school gives knowledge that goes beyond the classroom and opens doors in the community that
I could take advantage of research facilities like the Woodman Astronomical Library and enroll in classes that explore everything from the physics of our solar system to the history of our universe. I see myself joining interdepartmental clubs like Astronomy Club and Women in Physics and I hope to someday be a part of a research opportunity like the renowned IceCube Neutrino Observatory. In addition to working towards my major, I am thrilled at the prospect of being able to take the wide variety of classes available at UW-Madison. Throughout high school I have taken classes based solely on exploring new subjects for fun and to potentially discover a new interest, and I hope to do the same at Madison. I could fulfill my desire to connect with my Slavic roots and study Czech. I could empower myself with a class on gender and women’s studies, question my existence with a class on the meaning of life, overcome my stage fright with a class on music performance. With my aspirations held high and seemingly endless opportunities ahead of me, the sky’s the limit. At the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with my trumpet and my telescope angled high, not even the sky would be the
Many student clubs are available at this school that are there for you to choose and experience like the cadet corps, music activities , robotics , and many other ones.
Once my father heard about what teachers said about me he immediately took me out of the school and brought me back to Maryland where I attended Arbutus Middle School. I tried my hardest to keep good grade, but i was never fully on track till I graduated off to high school. I attended Catonsville High, and I immediately loved it. The staff was so helpful. Once i started school there my grade increased tremendously. Catonsville High didn’t just help me in school, but it helped me to be socially and mentally strong too.
Another major influence on me joining is how the students act and are treated. First of all the maturity level at a normal highschool would be set pretty low. That's why I would rather go somewhere, where that that level is set high so they can give me a chance with so much responsibility. I think every teenager, like myself, enjoys the freedom of wearing normal clothes, being able to walk around campus, and having so many ways to connect and communicate with teachers. I know I do, I enjoy knowing that we're trusted and are able to take on responsibility many high school students don't
In 8th grade, it's that time of year to look for new High School. some people can stay inside the regular high school or go look for others. Instead of staying back at the Ridgefield Park Junior Senior High School I want to apply For Bergen Academies.I C I chose Bergen academies because of the different subjects you can choose. for example, if you are interested in business you can choose to take Academy for Business and Finance class or if you like cooking you can take the Academy of Culinary Arts and Hospitality Administration, class. there are so many things you can choose from and can also help you choose your future career.
Need to order a pizza, just go online. Need to talk someone, just text them. Want to buy some clothes, just go online. Technology is everywhere, and will only become more and more prominent. In Doulos, technology is rarely used and the old fashioned way of learning is enforced; handwritten notes and lectures. The computer lab is often over booked and students are unable to use computers when needed. Doulos not being a technology based school has many negative effects on students who are planning to attend college.
