I am the solution to my problem “The truth is most families discover is that no one can cure another person’s addiction. Only addicts can do that for themselves.” The textbook definition of addiction is a persistent, compulsive dependence on a behavior or substance. Some researches speak of two types of addictions; substance addictions (such as alcoholism, drug abuse, and smoking) and process addictions (such as gambling, spending, shopping, eating, and sexual activity. Users that are guilty of any one of the addictions listed above are so caught up in their behavior they may not be aware of the problems it is causing for themselves or others. The word addiction can have many different meanings. Addiction can be described as a physical quality. Physical addiction is a biological state in which the body adapts to the presence of a drug so that the drug no longer has the same effect. When physically addicted to a drug there is a circumstance of overreaction by the brain to the drug. There is something wired in your brain with the addiction that enables you to gravitate back to the drug on a continuous basis.
` People can also be psychologically addicted to an action or substance. The majority of incidents where individuals obsessively use drugs, gamble, shop, and engage in sexual activity is due to being emotionally stressed. This can take place whether they have a physical addiction or not. This type of addiction is not based of drugs or brain effects. We need
