The Adelaide Oval has successfully taken a lot of consideration of the impacts of tourism in their management strategies because they were smart enough to keep their culture and heritage, which draws a lot of tourists who wants to learn about the history of Australian sports. They also put in some statues of some cricket and footy players as well as pictures of the cricket and footy legends. They also made sure that they didn't harm the environment too much and that they were helping the environment in some ways, which made the tourists happy. I give them a rating of 3.5 out of 5, because of the infrastructure, along with including the Aussie sports culture and heritage. You can see some of the Australian Greats statue in some areas of the building, reminding us of our own past that we may have forgotten. They even included some relics, like Don Bradmans cricket bat. The service available was also really good because of the variety expensive foods and drinks, including Johnny Walker, Whiskey, Gin and etc. But personally for me, they lost 1.5 marks because there wasn't much natural scenery to it, it was all facilities, which doesn't hold much beauty to me. …show more content…
It is normally filled with thousands of people in a really big sporting event, and they have no restrictions what so ever, so they can pretty much do anything. Which is a problem, because everyone might just decide to litter there. So I suggest that they should put more bins in that area so it will be easy for the people to but the rubbish in the bin, and also encourage them to pick up their own rubbish through putting up signs or telling them on their way in. This will have a big positive impact on the
Finally, pollution may be the worst human impact of them all. Litter is a big problem as it affects the parks natural beauty and destroys several habitats, putting the wildlife’s lives at risk. This is managed by park rangers who come and pick up rubbish during opening hours. However, there are only a few bins in the park. This is partially effective but could be
Littering can be a major fire hazard, all its takes is one discarded cigarette butt into a pile rubbish to ignite a towering inferno of sadness. If we litter too much garbage will pile up and will grow a harmful bacteria which would make us sick. It

The amenities available at this park include public toilets, football field, parking, dog waste bin, and garbage bin.
It can be observed that they have motivated and direct people toward the best practices of waste management. Separate bins for recyclable garbage and other garbage are provided by Southbank.
Rubbish must be removed daily before children are allowed to enter the area e.g litter, broken glass and animal mess.
People are constantly throwing trash outside their window when they are driving down the street or throwing trash on the ground when they are walking. As minor as littering is, there are long term effects. Trash that ends up in the storm drains, eventually make it’s way into the ocean. Once the trash is in the ocean, it can eventually make its way into a whales blowhole, or can be consumed by an animal; which could harm them. Also, trash that makes it’s way into lakes and oceans is very difficult to remove. If you cannot remove the trash, how are you going to prevent these animals from getting
Foreign and domestic tourism is an important component contributing to Australia’s economy. The major tourist attraction sites in Australia include the coastal towns of Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. The nation is known worldwide for beautiful tourist attraction sites such as the Great Barrier Reef, the Sydney Opera House, Outback- a vast interior wilderness desert and wild sanctuaries like kangaroos and duck-billed platypuses (Buckley, etal, 2000, pp.27-45).
Have you ever thought about what your community would look like without litter? If so, it may take a while to find out. One person throwing something on the ground may not think much of it, however, when that trash finds other trash, they begin to build up and make big piles of junk. For example, I am sure people never thought that if they littered, their trash would end up in the pacific garbage patch. Believe it or not, no one thinks that until you look at the pacific garbage patch and see how disgusting it looks just because people were to lazy to throw their trash away. To make matters worse, littering has become very common, which should be stopped because in most cases, trash is not disposed of properly,
The Olympic Games is one of the biggest and most unrivaled sporting events in the entire world. At first it may seem like a huge plus or advantage for a city or nation to host this event. However on the contrary there are a lot of negative aspects that occur when a nation hosts this event. While the event is taking place, from the outside it looks like a state of the art, prestigious event that it is. Some of the problems that are caused by hosting Olympic games deal with, stadium development, local resident life, security issues, and many others that will be discussed. One of the big problems when dealing with a mega event such as the Olympic Games is the stadiums, which get built, and how they get abandoned or not used after the games are finished. This is one of the major problems surrounding the Athens 2004 games. Many of the stadiums and infrastructure are left untouched and abandoned to this day.
For London and UK, hosting this mega-sport event provide them a great opportunity to boom the tourism industry to stimulate local economy when facing the global economic recession, especially in Europe. Although London didn’t outline specific tourism objective for the Games in its bidding documentation, London clearly stated its tourism objectives
In the more developed world, every industry in the rapid development. This is a high-speed development in the 21st century, especially tourism and hospitality. It is a big trend in tourism industry, lots of people because Olympic Games, stars, attractions and movies are fascinated. Because of this kind of industry, it will be a high salary in tourism and hospitality. Also, it will increase income tax, marking, local communities, great attractions, historical staff and natural environment. This paper will talk about Olympic Games impact tourism and hospitality why they rise taxes and marketing, and why impact local communities in order to increase their international tourism and hospitality in the local society.
There are direct impacts to the environment for every sport event that happened, be it small scale or global. Mega –sport events are progressing every now and then since they are stimulators of major programs of improvement and regeneration for means of expressing the personality and enhancing the status of cities that are holding these events. Mega-sport events are then catalysts of development and change of the venues both in the local and national level (James and Dodours,
This seems to be a workable scheme. Local government seems to be taking some small steps towards helping the environment and the fact that the rubbish in blue bins is no longer being disposed of in landfill sites is a bonus. However problems arise when the tenant who's black bin is filled after a weeks usage is left wit bin liners full of disposable waster and no place to but them. After a days work, most house holders do not wish to drive to the local dump, assuming they have a car, which may be closed by the time they arrive home from work anyway.
There are some reasons for the problem. The first reason is that the effects of the thrown rubbish are very dangerous and extremely harmful. According to Miller (1987), global industrial organizations produce over 80,000 different chemicals (para. 5). Basically, garbage is old, dirty and wet, so that it is a perfect place for bacteria and other viruses to stay in. Rubbish growth in cities has been a problem all over the world for centuries. Landfills have always been regarded as sources of illnesses and unpleasant smells. The harmful wastes from the garbage spread through the ground from paint, chemicals, petrol, batteries, and other toxic materials that have been thrown away into the garbage. The toxic chemicals get into the water pipes and spread through the people’s drinking water. Another reason of that problem is that people have created all these disasters, which are connected with environmental pollution. The more modern technologies are created, the more unbelievable become wastes and remains of what is produced. From this, man is responsible for what he or she created and for the following consequences. Anxieties about the environment have made people more aware of their environmental footprints or the kind of waste they leave behind during their existence. The difficulty is that an average person leaves an incredible amount of wastes in his or her lifetime. According to Lovejoy (1912), all biodegradable substances, contained in
