In "We Should All Be Feminists," Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie describes experiences and events that have happened in her life to explain why everyone should be a feminist. Adichie starts her essay off with an anecdote from here teenage years, in which she first heard the word "feminist," along with the negative tone that is associated with it, even though she did not know what it meant.
