Adolescent’s Committing Violent Crimes Teenagers, who commit violent crime such as murder, first degree murder, second degree murder, homicides, voluntary manslaughter, and involuntary manslaughter should be tried as adults. These teenagers knew exactly what they were doing and they also had the intent to kill. Families are blaming it on violent movies or violent TV shows, hello it is called parental control. Maybe if we start trying them as adults teens would think twice. Adolescents should be tried as adults for committing violent crimes because they knew what they were going to do before they committed the crime. There should be no disagreement with being under the age of eighteen and still be tried as an adult. If teens would think twice they would not be put on death row or be sentenced to life in prison. And no the media is not why your child decided to kill. Another issue is the loss in brain tissue argument still does not make any sense because there is an overabundance of teens in this world with the same loss of brain tissue and they are not murdering people, they can control themselves. The parents should be the blame for this act of violence in their child because they let children be around those disturbing things, but you still see the parents blame everybody or anything but themselves. If parents would start being parents, teens might actually stop committing crimes. To be honest it is really not that
