On April 20, 1889, Adolf Hitler was born in Braunau Am Inn, Austria to Alois Hitler and Klara Pölzl. In the early days of Hitler’s life, he was an unrestrained and carefree child who lived a happy life. His mother was very caring and affectionate towards him while his father spent most of his time either at work or following his hobby of keeping bees. Hitler had an older brother named Alois Hitler Jr. and an older sister named Angela, and a few years after he was born his mom gave birth to another son named Edmund and another sister named Paula. After his father retired and Hitler started to go to school his life began to change. He was no longer able to live his previous carefree lifestyle and now his strict father was going to be watching …show more content…
Around the time, he was trying to gain support for the Nazi party the mood of Germany was not too particularly great. The depression's effects had hit Germany and its people hard with millions of people losing their jobs. Still fresh in the German people’s minds was the humiliating loss of WWI. Also, people did not like the Weimar Republic government because it agreed to the terms of The Treaty of Versailles. Due to this, the German people lacked confidence in the Weimar Republic. These conditions provided the chance for the rise of a new leader, Adolf Hitler, and his party, the National Socialist German Workers' Party, or the Nazi party. Due to Hitler’s extravagant speeches, he was able to attract many followers to the Nazi party. In the article, it states “Hitler was a powerful and spellbinding speaker who attracted a wide following of Germans desperate for change”, but this quote doesn’t even show how impactful the speeches really were. The article later states that “The party's rise to power was rapid... the Nazis were practically unknown, winning only 3 percent of the vote to the Reichstag (German parliament) in elections in 1924. In the 1932 elections, the Nazis won 33 percent of the votes, more than any other …show more content…
In the article, it states “Hitler built on and used anti-semitic ideas that already existed. He was Austrian and grew up in Vienna where the mayor was extremely anti-semitic and where hatred of Jews was widespread” where he was from hatred of the Jews wasn’t uncommon, but why did he specifically hate Jews. There are many theories also to why he despises the Jews ranging from having a childhood friendship that ended with a Jew all the way to his mother was a Jew and that he was ashamed of her, but really I don’t think it was any of those. In an article, it states that “by giving the Jews the blame Hitler created an enemy” he used this as a tactic to win the election because he needed some kind of scapegoat to put the blame on. This got him a lot of support because it is easy for people to join into the herd mentality and just blame someone else for their own mistakes. Also, Hitler and the Nazis believed that Jewish race was “inferior” and did not even considered them people, so he needed a way to get them out of the picture to build his perfect Aryan race. I think Hitler just hated the Jews when he was born, so he just started a hate train towards them which also caused him to get elected into office, so for Hitler it was just a win-win and he really had no specific reason as to hating to the
Adolf Hitler was born on April 22, 1886 in Braunau am Inn, Austria to Alois and Klara Hitler. He was the fourth of six children. His childhood was undesirable. Due to his father’s short temper, and strict manner Adolf Hitler did not have a stable relationship and was unable to pursue a career in the visual art (Keefe, 29). Throughout his childhood, he experienced several losses. Beginning with the loss of his five siblings, which unfortunately did not get to
When you think of Adolf Hitler, you think of his hate for the Jews. In spite of his hate for the Jews, Hitler placed them in concentration camps hoping to wipe out the entire Jewish population. However, he failed that attempt, but he still killed many innocent lives. But, have you ever wondered about where this behavior came from? Maybe his childhood gave him such a hateful perspective on life. Maybe one event occurred in his life that messed him up forever causing the horrid historical events he caused. Hitler's life leading up to his historical moments could give reasoning behind these actions.
Although Hitler’s childhood life was tumultuous, he did not yield to the barriers that would prevent him from having success. Is it a coincidence that Hitler and the Nazis increased their popularity, while the Weimar Republic decreased their spot in Germany’s government? The only reason the Nazi Party increased their popularity was because the Weimar Republic made Germany become distressed and also the Young Plan of 1928 contributing to the Nazis gaining 18% in the 1930 Reichstag elections. Therefore, Germany began panicking which led Hitler to gain power, Germany created the Weimar Constitution to drive Germany out of this economic downfall, and the League of Nations created the Treaty of Versailles to force Germany to harsh terms and which ultimately led Hitler and the Nazi Party to take control of the German government.

Unsurprisingly, Hitler is known to be insignificant due to his harsh beliefs, personality, and the actions he took to sustain his negative beliefs. Since he himself was insignificant, would this mean his leadership was trifling as well? Despite the opinion of why his leadership was a failure, the opinion that supports his leadership is mainly due to the fall of the Weimar Republic. During the ruling of the Weimar Republic over Germany, the Weimar would cause the invasion of the Ruhr, political violence and general distrust, and the failure to amend the Great Depression. Under Hitler’s leadership, however, he would heavily violate the Treaty of Versailles, break German Democracy, and would rise to power due to his beliefs and actions.

First off I am going to talk about Hitler’s service in world war one. While Hitler served in world war one he had some of the best luck nearly every attack he was involved in Hitler would always somehow escape. In one of his first engagements 2500 of the 3000 men in Hitler’s unit where either killed or missing and somehow Hitler managed to escape with no scratches. During his service Hitler served as a dispatch runner bringing message from the command post to the front lines. After recovery Hitler decided to go sightseeing in Germany while he was there he saw that there was a wide-spread anti-war
Hitler was an amazing and very unusual speaker and had the ability to convince people that he could bring them out of their extreme unhappiness and pain. The 1920s was a period serious money problems for Germany and they believed anyone who could be that convincing. The German people were confused by the World War I as they could never imagine Germany losing. They badly searched for and tried to get answers for the defeat and Adolf Hitler convinced them that he had the answers. The Third Reich rose from the ashes of the Weimar Republic, which was a parliamentary democracy established after the fall of the Kaiser at the end of World War 1. In an article published by the United States Holocaust museum the end of the Republic is result of the rise of the Nazis. The Weimar Republic fell thanks to a string of events that resulted in Adolf Hitler’s establishment as Fuhrer. The beginning of the end for the Republic was upon the appointment of Adolf Hitler as chancellor on January 30, 1933. After a mysterious fire burned down the Reichstag, Germany’s Parliament building, on February 28, 1933, a state of emergency was declared allowing Hitler to establish a policy of ‘coordination,’ requiring the alignment of the German culture,

At three years old, the family packed their bags and moved to Germany. Hitler was close to his mother, who loved him and doted on him, but he opposed his father in his beliefs and actions. Hitler’s father disapproved of his passion for art. Alois wanted him to pursue business. Hitler’s life took a terrible turn when his younger brother Edmund died in 1900. This led to a downward spiral that left Hitler removed and grim. Three years later, Alois died from lung hemorrhage and caused Hitler’s switch to boarding school, where he played pranks on teachers and floundered through his school work. However, Hitler idolized his history teacher, who taught him about nationalism.
