Adolf was born on April 20, 1889 and he grew up in Braunau am Inn, Austria-Hungary or present day Austria. He lived with his father and mother, Alois and Klara Hitler. Adolf had three sisters and four brothers. Some were from previous marriages on his father’s side. His father, Alois Hitler, didn’t show much interest in Adolf. Alois and Klara’s marriage seemed incomplete. After the birth of their first born son, Gustav Hitler, Ida Hitler came along.
