E-learning has grown tremendously over the past several years as technology has been integrated into education and training. “E-learning” may be defined as instruction delivered electronically via the Internet, Intranets, or multimedia platforms such as CD-ROM or DVD. Since many users today have access to direct Internet connections, e-learning is often identified with web-based learning.

E-learning is one of teaching and learning methodology which is used by higher education institution for knowledge sharing, interaction and communication between teachers and the students. There are reasons as to why many teachers seem dissatisfied with this practice.
• Students’ focus is set in the wrong direction; in taking notes rather than understanding and absorbing new concepts. This could result in the student inability to grasp key ideas and concepts.
• A teacher’s lecture is generally one-size- fit-all. Not every student has the same pace of learning. While some students can follow the teacher’s lecture with convenience, most of the others require time to chow on the information that they are getting.
• Students need to pay thousands of dollars per term to attend a prestigious school. With all those budget cuts, busy classrooms, and course shortages, students won’t always get the chance to study exactly what you want.

It’s no wonder why millions of students from all around the world opt for online degree programs or take at least one college course through an online platform. Online learning has to be the greatest revolution in contemporary education. It made a huge change in the system and opened great opportunities for everyone who wants to learn
