Cultural Diversity refers to the differences in race, language, ethnicity, values systems, religion, and sexual orientation represented within a community (Amadeo, 2013). It is beneficial to both the employers and the employees. When diversity is managed well, and employees are subject to cross-cultural diversity and workplace, the result is that all people feel validated and considered important no matter what their differences are. Giving employees the opportunity to work with people that bring different skills and views to the table helps them recognize that everyone is important for different reasons.
