There has been increased requirement of ginger in pharmaceutical demands over the centuries.Recent research and study tells that garlic has preventive nutraceutical effect against reproductive toxicity and oxidative stress (A. O. Morakinyo 2008).The important active phytochemicals in ginger like gingerols,shogoals,zingibrene,gingerdiol and zingerone are claimed that they have antioxidant activity ( A.Khaki 2009).The study showed that ginger treatment gives antioxidant effects by increasing tissue concentration of catalase (CAT),glutathione peroxidase(GPx),superoxide dismutase(SOD) (A.
