Agriculture has changed in many different ways and has changed many things over time. There are multiple ideas and theories as to how agriculture happened and came about. Also, there were a numerous amount of advantages to agriculture in history. But at the same time, there were many disadvantages as well. Agriculture has caused different things to happen and continues to cause these things to happen still today. Without agriculture, we would not have things like food and cities. Agriculture is the science or practice of farming. This involves the cultivation of soil for growing crops and rearing animals to supply food, wool, and many other different products that we use today. Agriculture provides the world with most of its food and fabrics. The most common things we use today come from agriculture, such as food, shelter, and clothing. We are also provided with traditions and values given to us by agriculture. It gives us the materials we need to make buildings and cities. The advancement of agriculture has led to the transform and rise of civilizations. Many people have come up with different ideas and theories as to how agriculture became such a globally known practice of farming. Agriculture came about because the methods our ancestors first used were not effective enough to use as a permanent source of food and materials.
