Spoke with the tenant Wendy Spencer today, 9/23/2015 at 3:00 pm regarding the water bill notice she received state that the water is scheduled to be shut off due to no payment received. Per the lease agreement the tenant is not responsible for the water this is included in the rent. Ms. Spencer sated that there are some concerns with water leakage however, when she spoke with maintenance Ms. Jackie on Tuesday, 9-22-15 the tenant failed to relay information. Denise McKinley is from Tulare, CA. She attended College of the Sequoias in Visalia, CA where she got her Associates degree in Social and Behavioral Studies. Currently she is attending California State University, East Bay where she is working towards her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with an option in Social Services. She is participating in this program because she wants to educate the youth. She hopes to gain a new experience, by working with a different grade level. In the past Denise has worked with 3rd graders. Where she interned for Wilson Elementary School in Tulare, CA. Her goal is to educate and learn from the community in which she serves. Tracey is a 16 year old teenager in Lialee's world. She is very close friends with Lialee, Alex, and Cam, though she has grown quite attached to Lialee. Applied anthropologist strive to learn about specific cultures, solve collective issues, and influence human social conditions. Through the application of data, theories, and methods they help better understand many social problems. Within each subdisiciplines of anthropology, there are applied anthropologist who help to better understand and directly deal the people of the culture or group. They use their practical knowledge and incorporate it to whatever environment they may be in. In specific, applied anthropologist in cultural anthropology observe the culture and their practices, listen to what the community wants, and supports them using their own professional skills.
