Air pollution has become a major problem in the United States. The agricultural industry must help maintain air quality. By doing that the United States has started trying to make machines that will help reduce the pollution in the air which will help the environment. One way the United States has tried stopping air pollution and that is to create a solar powered machine which decreases air pollution. But also there are some ways that the people of the United States can help stop air pollution.
Air pollution affects the health of people in a major way. The presence of carbon monoxide in the air we breathe causes headache nausea and suffocation. Tuberculosis, bronchitis and asthma are common in our country due to poor air quality. Dust in

When growing plants the Plants can reduce the air pollution by producing the oxygen which is very important for human life to breathe.
Another solution is that the United States should limit factories how much they should make a year because less smoke means less pollution. Also that would be sort of a bad thing but if we had less pollution we would have more air. Such as recycling and reusing things like plastic bags so we don’t waste the plastic items. Doing the recycling go green way will help in getting the environment in a better place. Another thing that will help the environment get different type of gas for cars that is harmless to the environment.
But some ways that we can help the environment are to sometimes ride a bike instead of a car. Doing that will do well for the environment and you because you are getting a good workout. But a substance in the air that can be harmful to humans and the environment is known as an air pollutant. Air pollutants are the gases such as carbon dioxides. Which mainly come from factories and cars.
Air pollution can be spread volcanic eruptions which send sulfur dioxide, tons of ash, and soot into the air which mixes with water vapor to form acid rain. Dirt particles can also be carried to the atmosphere during wind erosion. This happens in areas with less vegetation where soil cannot be held together. Such as on islands for an example Hawaii.
People get exposed to air pollution not just outdoors. Even in
Air pollution is a big problem in our world today because it affects our lives on earth as well as animals and plants. Breathing polluted air can make you very sick it can cause your eyes and nose to burn. It can irritate your throat and even make your breathing difficult. Air pollution is a big environmental problem because it is affecting our crops, trees, wildlife, and lakes/oceans. Pollution is harming fish and other aquatic life in those bodies of water.
Another reason is by using natural gas in making electricity instead of coal because coal emits a huge supply of carbon dioxide into the air. So by using natural gas instead of coal it would reduce air pollution as a whole.
Air pollution is when there is a presence in the air of a substance that has harmful or poisonous effects. There is air pollution almost everywhere in the world. This is due to industrialization. The world today depends on things that emit hazardous fumes and other hazardous pollutants in the air. Air pollution that is hazardous or toxic can have health risks. Some of these risks range from skin rash, cough and headache to cancer, nervous system damage and birth defects. There are no positive effects of air pollution. Air pollution is also in the form of acid rain. Acid rain pours wherever it’s ready. Acid rain destroys plants, harms animals, fish and other wildlife. Humans aren’t the only ones affected by air pollution everything is affected.
When it comes to nature, trees, rivers, the sky, air pollution also affect the environment. Air pollution can harm the ecosystem. “Nitrogen oxides and sulfur dioxide cause eutrophication and acidification of lakes and streams, damaging ecosystems” (Melamed et al, 2016). This can harm the environment and contribute to the human health problems. We drink water, and water plants with water. Even more particulate matter interact with cloud formation processes and may impact the amount and location of precipitation (Melamed et al, 2016). This is the reason of flooding and water problems.
Air pollution is air with a lot of chemicals in it that makes it hard for us to breathe. We breathe 2 gallons of air per minute which makes it 3400 gallons of air each day. Above 50,000 people die in America due to air pollution. 80% of our lung disease are caused by the pollution of the cars. Indoor air pollution is 2-5 times worse than the air outdoors. Ways to reduce air pollution is by wearing mask continually to save ourselves from air pollution. Electric vehicles produce less air pollution because they don’t produce gas. Another way to reduce it is that ensure new vehicles had to be fitted with catalytic converters. With these changes it also reduces ozone pollution. Ozone air irritant your eyes, nose and throat. By making these changes it would be easier for everybody to breathe.
When the air becomes polluted, it is because air pollutants have contaminated it. Burlington, New Jersey where I live is not exception to air pollution. These pollutants are emitted into the air from the car we drive, the factories that manufactured food we eat, clothes we wear, etc. The air also gets polluted from the activities we are involved with in our homes, including the various kinds of products we used at home, like air conditioners, heaters, etc (“NJDEP”, n.d.).
Air pollution causes great damage to the environment. These damages include acid rain, eutrophication, haze, ozone depletion, global climate change, etc. "Acid rain is precipitation containing harmful amounts of nitric and sulfuric acids."Acid
Another big problem in polluting places and things is air pollution which can make air foggy, unbreathable, and toxic. According to “34 Facts about Pollution”, the text states breathing the air in Mumbai, India, for just one day is equivalent to smoking 100 cigarettes. One of the things that can cause air pollution is releasing factory fuels and fossil fuels into the air. We also cause it from burning certain things like plastic, chemicals, and other
Air pollution is very unfavourable for the environment; especially for the water cycle. In the event that the air is polluted enough, it could form acid rain which could end up being very harmful. This is because the acid could harm water from rivers, lakes or seas, which strongly affects both animals and humans; water being a requisite for living.
Pollution has become a heated issue in recent years. The destruction of the environment along with serious health problems are the eventual effects. The extensive use and availability of automobiles, tremendous amounts of production in the booming economy and the constant increase in demand for energy, can be held responsible.
Pollution is a term that is much talked about and discussed in different forms throughout mass media. Air pollution is one such prominent form that refers to the contamination of the air due to harmful gases entering into the atmosphere. Which may cause adverse effects on human health and the environment. Air pollution has natural and man-made causes, and leads to respiratory diseases and the depletion of the ozone layer.
Air pollution is a major problem affecting the entire world. In the United States some progress has been made in reducing air pollution through the Clean Air Acts passed by the Congress. Still there is a lot to be done. To prevent air pollution it is important to understand how the air is being polluted, how it impacts on the ecosystem and what we can do about it.
At the first, what is air pollution? The air pollution is contamination of air by the discharge of harmful substances. We’ve got many pollutants, which cause air pollution. Like carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons, lead and many more. All of these pollutants can cause lot of illnesses, like cancer, birth defects, brain and nerve damage, long-term injury to the
Air pollution has been around for centuries now, but it has not been until recently that it has become an issue. Air pollution is a problem that is more severe than the general public understands it to be for several reasons. I chose this topic because its effects on the health of the general public have become more prevalent over the years. It has become a concern to me because my health is affected as well. Not only does it impact our health and well-being, air pollution is causing multiple environmental disturbances, including contributing to global warming and global dimming.
Pollution is the introduction of harmful substances or products into the environment. It is a major problem in America and as well as the world. Pollution not only damages the environment, but damages us also. It has cause many problems ranging from lung cancer to the greenhouse effect. It is all among us but we continue to live in our own filth. What is the reason behind this flawed logic? In this paper I will examine the problems and solutions for this issue.
