Success by Alain De Botton definition is “we should make sure that they are our own. We should focus in on our ideas, and make sure that we own them; that we are truly the authors of our own ambitions.” (TED Talk) And Pearses definition is “ Real success is a continual reward and continual obligation”( Pearse 49) and Pink the author of Drive, that success is the intrinsically motivated. My definition of success is one who makes their own success and that is intrinsically motivated and has autonomy of the time, technique, and task and purpose because the times when a person such as myself have the perseverance to drive myself forward even with the downfall of failure I still pushed foward. It presumes that people want to be accountable- and that making sure they have control over their task, their time , their technique, and their team is a pathway to that destination “ (Pink 107) The specific of autonomy when applied to time task and techniques are when they do it, what they do, how they do it. An instance of this time is having the self decrement of managing the time and task would be the idea of 20 % time the work idea of having the workers spend 20% of their time in a task there were passionate about. And when I find it to drive at it autonomically, and make sure no one can tell me otherwise. That a person can have all but one and be unsuccessful.
