Upon his return to Germany, Albrecht began to incorporate some of the Italian artistic styles that he learned on his trip, with the Northern Renaissance artistic forms. Many of the woodcuts that Albrecht created were more complex and detailed than most of the woodcuts prior to his work, but the method he used to prepare for his carving is unknown. Albrecht learned much about the subjects of perspective, anatomy, and proportion from a man named Jacopo de' Barbari, who Albrecht met during his trip to
Known as the founder of the Renaissance, Leonardo De Vinci was an astonishing man. Born on April 15th, 1452, he later died in 1519. Leonardo left behind beautiful art, wonderful ideas and eccentric concepts of science and nature. His art focused on realizing contrast, he focused on the understanding of where peace resides, so does destruction. He introduced many ideas to art that were new for his time, for example, his technique of smoky backgrounds brought life to his paintings. By the age of twenty, he was a master artist. As he included mathematics to his art, he precisely incorporated his beliefs about nature. His most known pieces include The Last Supper and The Mona Lisa. Leonardo De Vinci is considered to be one of the greatest artists and naturalists to ever live.
Leonardo da Vinci clearly displayed this idea through his new techniques and styles of portraiture, clearly seen in the Mona Lisa, allowing the evolution of medieval art into modern day artwork. Leonardo da Vinci used things such as Chiaroscuro and sfumato to create a natural landscape and 3D form, first used by him. He used these techniques to create a smooth transition from the figure to landscape, using oil paint and idealism to give the painting a more realistic feel. He used the pyramid design and pillars on either side to focus the viewers on the woman in the portrait, while also using the light and dark tones on the figure to give the background depth. The new colours used as well as the shading and blending of paint give the painting a new sense of realism and

His experience with his family as a child lead to his expertise in painting, printmaking, engraving, math, and theology. Durer, also often thought about the different proportions that are seen in a human body, which influenced his future work, such as his Adam and Eve paintings. He is known to be the first northern European to have been influenced by things going on with the Italian Renaissance.

Wilhelm Richard Wagner was a renowned German opera composer who lived in the 1800s. Besides his extravagant operatic works, he dabbled in written essays with the most notable being his Judaism in Music published in 1850. Wagner’s essay made very clear his views on Jewish composers and performers in the German musical realm—he loathed them. His anti-Semitism is made blatantly clear in the very first paragraph, “It will not be a question, however, of saying something new, but of explaining that unconscious feeling which proclaims itself among the people as a rooted dislike of the Jewish nature.” While his ideology was not the first part of Wagner that Hitler took a liking to, it became a defining factor in Hitler’s perspective on society during the reign of the “Thousand Year Reich”.

His mother was an artist and encouraged Andy while he was recovering from Chorea. She rewarded Andy by giving him delicious sweets mostly chocolate bars, when he finished a page in his coloring book.
