This trimester was the final one of the entire school year. It has been moderately stressful and pleasant at the same time. It has been stressful because of science fair and by knowing that high schools are going to look at your grades. It has also been stressful because we have a plethora of homework that takes approximately 2-3 hours to finish. On the other hand, we had a enjoyable when we went to Alcatraz this trimester. Going to Alcatraz was a stupendous trip and experience for the whole class and was excellent learning something from a historical landmark. I chose theses assignments because the summarize and represent all of the assignments I had this whole trimester. Each assignment has SLE to express and to converge with. The language
Week 4: What an amazing week I have had. My children are on holiday, we have had a lot fun activities to do as a family. Holidays are the only times I get to spend with my children as I work from Monday to Friday. I have also taken some time off work, hence I am not as stressed as I am most of the times. However I tend to manage my stress well by practising. I really appreciate your feedback and the guidance given during this course work.
I am proud of all the effort you have made during these weeks, you have been working very hard to make your grades up and have your assignments completed in a prompt manner. It has been overwhelming and I understand that sometimes you could get confused about your deadlines. I encourge you to think that there are just 9 days to the end of this term. You are almost there, please keep working.
The assignment that I chose to reflect up on is the Midterm part 3 assignment. This assignment consisted of three parts to complete. One: analyzing the campaign commercials of the 2012 presidential race between Mitt Romney and Barack Obama. The second part, I had to research the demographics of two swing states, which for me were Colorado and Nevada. Then lastly the third and final part of the mid-term was to write a memorandum to a made up candidate who was running for the 2016 elections named Mr. Smith.
One assignment that I feel as though I put my all into would be the Definition essay, in my opinion is my best. I took my time and tried to focus on what the instructor was
These two weeks have been busy working on forms for teachers and working with a program called Flubaroo. These weeks have been full of learning and creating new forms that further increases my education.
sat in my 8th hour room, staring at the clock, waiting for it to finally hit 3:05. After what felt like an eternity I heard the ring of the bell and a wave of students rushed out into the summer air. Summer was finally here and I couldn’t be happier. I had a whole three months to do whatever I wanted. No homework, no tests, no teachers. I hopped on my bus that would drive me home and deliver me to freedom.
Stressful nights, life determining exams, challenging courses, so many unique features characterize junior year. Being my first year taking Advanced Placement courses, I have experienced a diverse atmosphere compared to honors classes. Considering how much work we completed and the complexity of the readings, AP Spanish Literature has been by far the most challenging course I have taken. Since I am not the best at memorizing history, I struggled with the cultural part of the literature we would read, aside from the point that some writings were written in old fashioned Spanish that made it seemed to be a Marc Chagall painting, being so difficult to understand. However, persevering through the challenging topics, and having our teacher believe
The unit that was studied this week was many different readings we had in class for example we read “ Terror From The Sky” and “ The War In Vietnam” etc. This week has been very busy for me I’m trying to study for all of my classes and trying to get all B’s or higher for my final grade. I’m also very happy because I believe that I did very very well on my exam ( estoy feliz).
Starting a new school year as a tenth grader, I thought there wouldn’t be any big changes but there was, and there is. My classes became slightly more difficult than they were last year, as a freshman. Which made it more challenging to keep up with all the class work, tests, quizzes, and homework. Although, most of the assignments assigned became a bit effortless, of course effort is needed but it’s just so simple to do. All of my classes balance between those two, being challenging at times but also being simple. I, like every other student was enrolled into a World History class. In History class, we were assigned a Public Service Announcement(PSA) just recently.
This week we are going to go to take original pictures and start working on our elevator speech. The three of us do not have a sixth period, so we are going to go to the hospitals then and do volunteer work. We did not know how our schedule would align, but we figured it out. For the next few weeks we are going every day after fifth period to do our volunteer work. Our goal for this week is to learn about the people and what they go through on a daily basis, and how they are coping with their changes. The next thing we will be working on is our elevator speech script, figure out where we are going to do it, and what time we are ACTUALLY do it. This project has been so stressful and we are going to toss this idea next semester and do something
Zara, one of the world’s largest apparel retailers, was founded in 1975 in La Coruna, Spain. With its successful rollout in the Spanish market, it began to expand its stores around the world, and became one of the most profitable brands in the appalling market. Zara was famous for its ability to quickly respond to the market demands, which provided a useful lesson in terms of competitive advantage with its rivals. But confronting to the fast-paced and constantly changing market, if a company wants to consistently increase market share in order to survive in the competitive market, it is irrefutable that it needs to achieve sustainable competitive advantage, since the achievement of sustainable competitive advantage can be expected to lead to higher performance.
My project met these expectations. Towards the end, I was a little bit stressed because I wanted my project to be the best it could be. It was also very difficult at times. As I’ve mentioned many times before, writing poetry is an intensive process. Despite the difficulty, I thoroughly enjoyed writing poems for my Quality Project. I also expected the Quality Project to take up a large portion of my time. However, I didn’t spend that much more time working on homework than I usually do. The only time I felt like I was working on homework more than I should have was during spring break. Although I spent quite a few hours working on my Quality Project during spring break, it wasn’t boring or annoying because I actually enjoyed researching about and writing
Furthermore the objectives this week for Social Studies includes learning about being a good citizen and community. This week in particular is very important and special, because it is only a four day week in lieu of the usual five day week. Furthermore, until now I did not quite realize the impact this type of schedule has on educators and students. The students have to get back into the routine of school and educators must accomplish and teach all of the objectives for the week. In addition, the week was filled with several meetings, which I had the privelage to attend. During this week I was able to attend a parent conference meeting and a beginning of the school year healthcare meeting. This week was busy even though it was not the typical five day school week. I continue to learn and grow from my experience. Next, I will continue my third week of the gradual release experience and I will be in charge of the subject area of grammer next week on the week of Sept.
Spring break, a time to unwind, a marking of the end of the third quarter. So, in this essay I’m going to tell the reader all about mine. I’m kidding, I can’t say half the stuff I did. Why the reader wants to know what I did over spring break in a shitty essay is beyond me. So, I got a new bed, watched a lot of horror movies, and I spent the night down at the police department. There, that should be enough to fill a page.
The academic year has been very intensive and ran quicker than I imagined, however, it has been a very challenging but exciting both academically and on practice. Lectures have been well organised and delivered compared to year one where on many occasions there were disruptions due to last minute change of lecture theatres or change of timetable. We had equal sessions of field learning and theory at the school.
