It’s 3 am. Your room is dark, but you can see that there is someone, standing at the foot of your bed. You can just make out that he or she is wearing a clown costume, and you are pretty sure, from the glare and the little bit of reflection, that it has a knife. Character names: Alex(age 19,girl, recently moved out) Lucien(age 22, boy, majoring in psychology with Alex) Nico( age 19, boy, has been dating Alex since junior year of highschool) Settings: Bedroom, hallway, house, outside Scene 1 Enter Alex and Lucien from left side of stage Setting: Outside on a road [Alex] The professor today assigned way to much work don’t you think Lucien. [Alex] Same, do you want to come over later? We can binge watch halloween movies and I can order pizza. [Lucien] Okay sure I’ll meet you there at like eight. Lucien exits on left side of stage. Alex stands outside of the door to her house [Alex] Was this a good idea? I still haven’t told Lucien that Nico moved in with me and whenever I mention Nico’s name to Lucien he seems to get really mad and red. I hope they can get along just this once. [Alex] Well you wouldn’t have come if I told you he’d be here too [Lucien] I guess so well let's just start watching the movies All characters exit the stage Scene 4 [Alex] Are you sure you don’t want to stay over tonight it’s really late and it’s going to be a really far walk back to your house [Lucien] Yeah I’ll be fine [Alex] Well alright but make sure to call me as soon as you get home so I know you got home safe Lucien exits on left side of the stage [Alex] I’m really worried about Lucien there have been sightings of someone lurking outside the houses nearby and I just hope that he can get home alright. Scene 5 Characters: Alex, Setting: Alex’s room Enter Alex from left side of stage and she walks to the bed in the middle of the room [Alex] I’m so worried about Lucien it's been three hours since he left and he still hasn’t called. Maybe I should just try calling him again. (Alex takes out phone and dials a number and a phone is heard ringing off stage) Hmm I guess he left his phone here so he must be at home safe right now. I don’t know how I would live if something bad happened to Lucien. There’s not much else I can do except for wait til morning to go find
