To gaze into the lyrics of both Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur is like living in the ghettos of New York City where violence never stops. Both of these artists grew up seeing and living a life filled with violence. Gunshots and drive-byes, death and murder were a daily occurrence. Although the lyrics of both artists are simply telling their life stories and how hard it was to grow up in their “hoods” they contain vulgar, hateful, and sexual verses that send the wrong message to their listeners. Whether these listeners are teens or adults, white or black, they are continually sending notions of hatred and fear through their lyrics and actions. Ultimately,

Abe Lincoln and Frederick Douglass are very different people, but they both had the same purpose. Abraham Lincoln, the president of the united states, wanted the south to secede and to end slavery. Douglass wanted the same thing as Lincoln but his speech was more impactful because it came from a slave himself. Both men gave very impactful speeches, but one of them was definitely better.

One similarity is that both men were president of the United States. They both had plantations, which is where their incomes were based, with slaves. In their families they both had a wife and children. The two men also felt that agriculture is necessary for the society.

Alexander Hamilton with Thomas Jefferson, one was Secretary of Treasury, and the latter was Secretary of State, help the country to create the Declaration of Independence, and Constitution in order to restore American freedom. Although they helped America to be independence during the Revolutionary war, their views was opposing each other significantly, that created a major conflict in term of politics, and economics in their way of shaping freedom in America.

Hamilton story is an epic one. Although people say that Hamilton’s efforts to change america ended up hindering it more because he attempted to thwart a political race, he has a long history of failure, and because he publicly thrashed founding fathers in his newspaper articles, Hamilton was an amazing man. Hamilton was vowed to fix America financially, he assisted George Washington, and had plans to make america better.

I found this particular story very captivating because these two men had so much in common you would think that they would have become friends instead of mortal enemies, they were both born at the end of the 17th century and although Aaron burr was born to royalty and Hamilton was born illegitimately and out of wedlock they still both went on to pursue very similar lives and careers.

Currently, thanks to the broadway play, Alexander Hamilton by Lin-Manuel Miranda, my favorite historical figure is the man mentioned above. Now while it is clear that the musical is an exaggeration of events, with a hip-hop twist, the main aspect of the tale stays the same. Alexander Hamilton was an unstoppable force. I fought his way to the top and cared little for the opinions of those around him. If he wanted to write something, or create something, then he would.
