Hi, Yes, he can still bring his grade up in Algebra, I'm not sure about other classes. My guess is that he can still bring those grades up as well. However, I am concerned with his motivation. Jailing is very bright but, most days, he refuses to put his iPad away and work. I will have him check with other teachers today to see what he needs to do to bring his grades up. He should have a list of things to do by the end of today. Let me know if you have any questions or need any other teacher's contact information.
Ryan can still end the school year with a better grade. He has two projects that he needs to complete because they are part of the grade descriptors, and they will continue to impact his next quarter grades. Homework assignments are not part of the grade descriptors, but they help students to practice the language. You will find attached the grade descriptors.
I was checking my grades and noticed you graded Activity Three 10/30 because it was “missing Managing CSS and Working With Images.” But on the Activity Three assignment page it only mentions having to turn turning in the 9: Working With Tables files. It did not mention having to turn in any of the others. Is there any way this grade could be adjusted? Would re-submission be an option?
Connor had limited progress and struggled most of this year in Digital Technologies. He really needed to ask for extra help or use the available lunchtime tutorials being offered. His Database grade shows he is capable of passing. He still has a chance of gaining more credits if he completes the externally marked Computer Science report.

I have Daniel Barriga who came to my class today and said in front of my class “that you argue that I don’t know how to grade.” Is this true or not? Because I have been teaching for more than 15 years now and is the first time I have this situation. Daniel Barriga had a lot of opportunities to make up the work he is missing instead he decide to play games and waste time in class. I talk to his mother and principal and let her know. I gave a makeup work day and instead of completing his work he decide to play games. Some of the late assignment that he turn in were copy from other student. I also delete one major and one grade which mean that I help him to get in to a 69. I he deserves the 70 I would give him the 70 but as you can see he do not
He was on target for his age and grade level. The student showed excellent promise in his ability to recognize and identify letters with their sounds. Alex worked through this part of the test quickly without any signs of stress or agitation. He continued to flourish in the test for picture vocabulary where he worked promptly and finished the test within a few minutes. Alex was easily able to identify the pictures and write down their labels. The student displayed excellent vocabulary and writing skills for a student that speaks his native language at home. In mathematics, Alex's strongest point was math fluency. Although the score was slightly low, it was because he grew a little tired at this point and became slight frustrated. In math fluency, he scored 31 correct, age equivalence of 7-9, and grade equivalence of 2.3. In most of the math fluency problems, Alex answered most of them correctly. Subsequently, in the math calculation portion, he scored 8 correct, age equivalence of 9-7, and grade equivalence of 4.1. Alex was able to answer equations up to three digits and the one to two digits he was able to calculate in his head. At the end, he made a comment that he loves math but he was
If he did not give the grades, he would not have a job. A topic like this is interesting to me because I see it happening every day. It happens in my own school and even to me. My teachers will bring in donuts or offer extra credit to try and motivate or bribe us to get our work done.
Thank you for letting me know about the change in his medication. Based on observation, he seemed more distracted. We set a focusing goal yesterday during lunch, and when he came during my class (CA) he reported that he was focused during Science and Social Studies. I looked at his Math test paper yesterday, and he did not show his work and that would explain why he scored 50%. We will work on his test corrections (Science/Social Studies) and review for the Science retake today so he can have a better grade. He is a hardworking student.
The scores just don’t go up. Paul Hippel, author of the study and research statistician in sociology at Ohio State. Found that, “over a full year, math and reading test scores improved about the same amount for children in year-round schools as they did for students

Keeping kids grades up is very important to the school. There is more than one way to keep kids engaged in the classroom and promote good grades or effort on their work. The school can suggest a lot of things to get students to achieve a good academic performance level. They can offer rewards, such as a school currency system, periodic parties, treats for good academic performance, etc. Additionally, the school could suggest the outcomes of bad academic performance. The facts and the cold hard truth would definitely motivate kids to study to guarantee a successful future.
The first problem with passing a student by adding points or warping grades is the moral issue it places on the teacher. Even if a student is trying his or her best, it is morally wrong and considered cheating for a teacher to add illegitimate points to a student’s grade. The second is that this jump is likely to affect the student academically. This may not be as imperative in all elementary school grades, but not understanding completely how to read or spell will affect a student no matter what the age or grade level. There is of course, the possibility that a student could fail a class such as algebra moving up only because the teacher added extra points but understand the concepts in the next class wonderfully. The sudden deeper understanding
Failure can mean many things for adults. Although, when it comes to what failure means for children it can mean repeating a grade. An example of failure would be keeping a child back after failing a grade. If a child fails a grade and continues to the next one, the child misses out on essential information. Therefore, keeping a child in the grade they failed longer would help the student learn missed information, find out what areas they’re lacking in, and aid them for the next school year.
