Should Phones Be Allowed In School? Students should be allowed in school for these reasons. To help for a future job, incase of an emergency, and to communicate with coaches and teachers. The first reason is having a phone would help students prepare for a future job. One way having a phone in school could help them prepare for a future job is checking their schedule, checking to see what’s for lunch, and even seeing when a project is due. They could also check their email if they don’t have a computer/chromebook.Another way having a phone in school could help them improve for a future job is teaching them responsibility of how to use time wisely while working on a project. Also if the student needs more time to work on a project they can email them to ask for more time. Although some people think that if phones are allowed in school the students will play games and text each other during class. They also would find it as a distraction to the students that don’t have phones. Though it would be pretty hard for students to play games and text each other if the teachers are monitoring their class to make sure that the students are doing what they're supposed to do.
