It is my delight to recommend Amanda Williams to your institution. For years I have watched Amanda flourish from the small middle schooler to the strong beautiful young woman she is today. When I first met her she was seemingly closed off but that’s not abnormal for a 12-year-old who has just left the life they know behind. Over the years I’ve gotten to know her to be a kind, intelligent, strong-willed young woman. Her mother often times would bring cakes or invite the neighbors over for dinner which helped me to glean more information about her life. I have seen her be extremely brave, comforting her mother over her father's Alzheimer's disease; and as I have learned of her family's struggles it became clear to me that this man had not offered
In addition to tutoring and mentoring the children in the community, Jacelyn also holds the position as Volunteer and Outreach Coordination, requiring her recruit, organize, and oversee student volunteers in the project. In addition, due to financial constraints in her family, Jacelyn also has an off-campus job that requires her to work many late nights and weekends. This ability to manage two jobs, a research assistant position, and consistent participation in community service while maintaining her exceptional GPA at an academically rigorous institution like UCLA demonstrates her admirable character, work ethic, and time management, valuable skills found in few students.
In health care, the nurse holds many responsibilities. The nurse must care for a patient by following the physician’s orders, assessing labs and objective data, in addition to discerning needs for the patient discharge plan. The discharge plan should be initiated soon after the patient is admitted to the hospital. The nurse, along with the interdisciplinary team, will assess the patient needs for returning home, with the nurse providing much of the discharge education. The purpose of this discussion is to choose two learning objectives for the Shadow Health patient Tina Jones. I will describe the teaching methods I would use, discuss how I would evaluate Tina’s learning, and list any possible barriers to learning. I will also relate this to

Today, Amanda Gordon, an Occupational Therapist can and talked to us today. It was such an honor for her to talk with us. I was especially interested in her lecture because I was thinking of becoming an Occupational Therapist, and she taught me so much more information about OT. Amanda was working at Moss for 5 years. She works with spinal cord injury patients and teaches them skills to accomplish everyday tasks. She teaches and practices them real life activities such as how to dress, cook, tie shoes, and much more. Amanda loves seeing her patients improve and slowly going back to their normal everyday routine. Because of Occupational Therapist Amanda, patients become more independent and be able to do an assignment.

Yes, I was in attendance at the Third brown bag. The focus was on environmental justice about the fair treatment and the protection of all people pertaining to the environment. The presenter was Mary Williams from Dillard university. The presenter mentioned how she sends students international to present on environmental justice. In addition, sent students to South Africa to talk about climate change and to Rio, a UN conference to talk about climate change. She started about understanding how to promote environmental justice and understanding to the government
