Amazon was known during the early years as an online book store before diversifying its merchandise by adding VHSs, DVDs, Music CDs, MP3s, computer software, videos games electronics furniture etc. Amazon has a range of products from beauty supplies, clothing, jewellery, gourmet goods, to garden supplies and beddings. Customers can discover various products they wish to buy at a reasonable and affordable prices Payroll (2013). Jeff hard work and entrepreneur skills drove him to become the online leader of the market. The main strategy was to align with customers and to be innovative with constant improvement in online shopping skills. Amazon UK Its main competitors are Apple, yahoo, Google, and other online book stores, number of indirect competitors, including media companies’ web portals, comparison shopping, and website developments.
