The time is now to become a Special Education Teacher. I believe the best fit for my academic and vocational goals is the UWM Exceptional Education Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Certification Program. I have been a teacher of students with special needs for the last couple of years in alternative settings.
The 2016 Presidential Campaign candidate, Bernie Sanders, believes in creating a better America. In proving to the American people, rich and poor, how great the country can be if all people vote for who is trusted best as future President of the United States. The political figures in government care about money and wealth, not the people. Bernard Sanders would be the best choice for President for the main reason that he is concerned about the issues in America that create inequality for the people. The issues addressed by this candidate will create social and economic equality.
Bill Clinton 2012 Democratic National Convention Speech As first stated by the ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle, the art of rhetoric in persuasive speaking is based upon the usage of the three key components, logos, ethos and pathos. Logos representing the usage of logic and reasoning within the speech or text,
As many of you may know today is a day for rebellion, against the slums, the ghettos, the bloody heels of crying children and bad jobs, today we arise as a nation for freedom and equality to stand against segregation. Today we rebel against the aggressors, to make a stand, so that every man, of any race may stand, and coexist as equals. Almost one hundred years ago all of the African Americans made free by the emancipation proclamation. But yet today one hundred, One Hundred, years later we still have to use the colored bathroom, the colored bars, the colored water fountains, and sit on the back of the bus.
My pledge reads: “I’M WITH YOU – THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.” I am your voice. So to every parent who dreams for their child, and every child who dreams for their future, I say these words to you tonight:
Signed America, to our generation, the gift with freedom, stuffed inside. The gift is fragile and can break at any time with rotten choices. Being responsible shall keep your gift from flying away. This gift is a privilege, a kind that is priceless, that would be hurtful to lose.
Truthfully, there are a lot of significant Economic issues that were addressed in President Obama’s State of the Union Speech. Obama had many successes in the past year, including: the strongest production of jobs in fifteen years, drivers saving an expected hundred dollars because gasoline prices were extremely low, and the unemployment rate plummeting to a miniscule 5.6%. However, the wages of middle-class Americans remain unchanging. President Obama plans to fix this issue, using what he referred to as “Middle-Class Economics”. What is the idea of Middle-Class Economics? According to our forty-fourth president, Middle-Class Economics is defined as “the idea that this country does best when everyone gets their fair shot, everyone does
Good afternoon, The announcement below from Feeding America represents a major accomplishment and is the culmination of a lot of hard work by the Feeding America Network, including the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.

I have restarted this post over and over again because I can’t quite find the words to explain my disgust at how the presidency of the United States of America has been tarnished. I can look back at my memories George W. Bush and think of how he sounds like
While, nation states peacock and puff and beat their chests demanding incessantly and proclaiming vehemently their independence and sovereignty, the planet continues to change, and as Barber puts it, cities continue “to worry about plowing the streets and providing parking and yes, always and everywhere, picking up the garbage.” (Mayors book – Barber 13) When Donald Trump withdrew from the Paris Climate Agreement, mayors throughout the United States made it clear, he does not speak for the cities and mayors around the country declared they do not support his decision. Making it clear that nation-state leaders don’t speak for everyone. Making a clear distinction, in that very moment, between the nation state and local government. Reclaiming
Not only am I very focused on my academic and career goals, I made sure I was involved with the community. In September, I was elected Treasurer for Hall Council,
As we get closer to the 2016 presidential elections, there seems to be 3 runner ups left who are Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton, and Donald Trump. In my opinion the candidate I believe would be the best bet would be Bernie Sanders. Mister Sanders is a Democratic candidate for President of the United States and now serving his second term in the U.S. Senate. From his youth Sanders seems to have been involved in a lot of political events and as a 20 year old he was an officer for Congress of Racial Equality (CORE). Bernie even marched Washington 1963 for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and saw him give his “I Have A Dream” speech in person so that shows you his involvement for Civil Rights. I like his involvement in equality and the past involvements
We The People In President Barack Obama’s speech, he often mentioned the past history of the United States of America, starting with the founding documents of our country. The founding documents its self are the history of our country, but we looked at it in a different perspective; as it was an idea of freedom, in the term of all men are created equal. President Barack Obama is using history as a tool to links his audiences back to those timeline when our country were at war with fascism, segregation, communism and how the government and the peoples had overcome those events with strong confidence. The President uses the past history as a lesson for us to learn from; therefore we will make better history in the future.
The inauguration of the President of the United States is a ceremony to mark the commencement of a new four-year term of the President of the United States. Presidential Inauguration has been a tradition of US diplomacy. On April 30, 1789; George Washington took the oath of office in New York City as the first president of the United States. Since 1901, The Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies has been responsible for the planning and execution of the swearing-in ceremonies and the luncheon for the Inauguration of the President of the United States at the U.S. Capitol.
