Did America’s educational system fail you, leaving yourself unprepared to enter the workforce and civil society? The answer could be yes or it could be no, it all depends on how one was educated, the resources that they were supplied with, and if they applied themselves. Today education is a key aspect to a child’s life and will also shape who/what they become later in life. If a child does not receive the proper education and help through the process, they will be less likely to succeed in the workforce and society. America’s educational system is leaving young people unprepared for the workforce and civil society through the lack of being able to perform basic skills, only preparing people for standardized tests, lack of self-responsibility that young people hold and the politicians having little regard for education. While others believe that young people are failing themselves and that educational systems does offer plenty of resources for their students to be prepared for the workforce and civil society.
In today’s workforce, jobs are heavily based upon the skills that one has and how well one can perform them in their field of study. A major component skill that lacks in many young people today is writing. Writing plays is an important role in life, one needs it to communicate with other people.
