Everyone has a childhood superhero that they grew up with. For generations now, superhero fans have battled each other out to see who the best of the best is. Some will argue that Superman is the best, while others argue about how Batman is the best. These two iconic superheroes are known to be best because of their powers, their famous transportation, and their weaknesses.
First off, Superman is known to be an American cultural icon and the first comic book superhero. Superman has multiple super powers, which can aid him in battle. His powers include: super strength, the ability to be stronger than average; super speed, the ability to be fast; super vision, the ability to see something far away and to detect things without seeing it; and

Batman’s power is different from any superhero, he uses gadgets, his indomitable will, intimidation, and martial arts to scare off his foes. This makes Batman strong and unbeatable against criminals. Batman’s transportation varies from where he wants to travel. The most common transportation that he uses are the batmobile, tumbler, and the batpod. Batman’s most concern weakness is that he is just a normal human being so his body limits him from doing things. Other transportations allow him to travel on land, in water, and even in the air. Batman has proven to us that not all superheroes need superpower in order to fight for justice.
Last but not least, even though Superman and Batman are completely different when it comes to heroes, they both share some similarities. For example, Superman and Batman both hide their supernatural identity to live through a normal life. They are also both crime fighters that stops crime from happening or crime from getting away. Raised to live a normal life but they struggle to let go of what happened during their tragic past, this made them grew up to become great
You probably know the superheroes of our generation. Superman, Flash, Iron Man, Thor, but you know, most people love Batman the best. 71% of people prefer Batman over Superman. This is probably because of his perseverance. Average people like us WISH we could recover from such a tragic background with such an intimidating attitude.
Superman, also known as Clark Kent, is the most popular modern day hero. Superman spent most of his time saving people from natural disasters and corrupt businessmen. He would level slums to force the city to build decent housing, and he would use his powers to terrorize munitions makers.
So after he finished helping the people that needed help before that, he rushed to Evil Man. He saw what Evil Man did so he started to worry he wouldn’t be able to fix everything. So he eventually started fighting Evil Man and it took a while for him to take him down but he got it. As soon as he did that he hurried to the people that was hurt and saved them. Soon after that he got the name Superman.
Batman originally began as a DC Comics' detective a superhero quite different from the one envisioned by Nolan and company today. Batman was created by Bob Kane and Bill Finger in 1939 for Detective Comics, and for more than two decades it depicted a hero defined by his mystery-solving techniques and cast of quirky characters against whom his braininess and eccentric costume could be balanced (along with his knack for solving crimes). Needless to
But whence digging past the loud colours and the "it's-a-bird-it's-a-plane," generic, one realises the true face of Superman. He isn't super for his inhuman abilities or his capricious appearance, he isn't a true man for his strong build and his appealing features: Superman is super because he's what everyone should aspire to be, and he is a man because he melds the world in a form of good and good only. For if Superman wanted to, he could rule the world and no one would be able to stop him. Superman is, literally, a god among men. He has the power to sink entire continents and kill millions of people with ease, but he chooses to protect everyone, good or bad, no matter how insignificant and tiny the life is for nothing in return. Superman is a hero because he's there for everyone, never compromising his ideals and taking the high road to support those in need. This is despite the fact that he could basically be a god lording over others without much trouble, but instead chooses to serve and inspire. That is why he is a hero. Superman is the ultimate hero, and not just because he is the most powerful being on earth but for his integrity which sets him completely apart. One could constantly remark on how Superman looks for the best in everyone, how he is ultimately loyal and selfless, not even considering the fact that he could rule the world but chooses to serve is the greatest compliment you can
3. Flaws It sounds counter-intuitive to love something for its flaws regardless, when it comes to superheroes it’s true. We as humans are flawed, so it’s only natural that we would have a fascination with characters that are superhuman yet still manage to feel normal human emotions and desires. Superman always succeeds and is the epitome of good which is why he’s loved and well known across the world.
Immigrants were a big part of United States history. Even though the proof and facts that workers brought lots of discrimination around the United States, they changed history completely and created a different nation. Created the nation that United States is today. People were being influenced from immigrants in many different ways. They helped change culture, religion and even in educational reasons.
Both Marvel and DC have their collection of heroes and villains. The only heroes and villains that will be compared are ones with near god-like abilities. Superman is one of these god-like heroes from the DC universe. He has the ability to fly, super strength, near invincibility, super speed, and laser vision. Although he was killed in the events of Batman V Superman, he was revived in the events of Justice League. Superman could destroy tanks, planes and other enemies with relative ease. His comparative hero from the Marvel universe is Thor. Although Thor cannot fly without his hammer, he has the ability to call down lightning, super strength and immortality. Thor did lose his eye in the events of Thor: Ragnarok,
Superman’s origin story is important to understanding his character, because showing him come to America from a different place gave him the aspect of being an
It makes them get around to save people faster. Finally, both defeat villains. Although Superman and Batman are both superheroes, they are very different from each other. First, they both have different superpowers. Superman uses heat and x-ray vision.
Even though people think it is a way of getting rid of pain, it is considered suicide. Euthanasia is accepting and promoting suicide. If we allow to take somebody's life because of the pain the person has, people would take a life lightly and would be eased to think that suicide is the way of escaping from the problem. Every life is important and valuable so that we should not let anybody choose to die themselves by the choice of the
There are several controversies surrounding capital punishment. Some people are in favor of the death penalty and some people are against it. Capital punishment is the death penalty for a crime. It is not right to seek revenge on another person’s life, and we have the right to live. There should be justice for the crime but not take the life of the person that committed the crime. Many people are not aware of how wrong, painful, and costly an execution is, and above all, it is possible to kill innocent people.
The main factor that tells me that Superman is a better Superhero is that fact that he actually has powers whereas Batman has to rely on money. Superman has many powers such as: Extreme strength, invulnerability, heat and x-ray vision, super breath, and flight. Batman on the other hand, has no powers and without his billionaire status, would
When you think of a superhero one normally thinks of Spiderman, Batman, or Superman, but there were superheroes long before these characters were created. First one must understand that the basis of this name is hero. What is a hero? A hero is a person who does something special or out of the ordinary in order to help others. It could also be someone who is admired for a characteristic about them, be it physical or mental. They are individuals that normal everyday people can look up to. This being the case, a superhero is nothing more then someone who is a hero, but not just that once and for that one person, but someone who helps many people, or leads them. As time went by the number of people who were true heroes diminished and just
Batman is one of the many fictional superheroes which appears in the “American comic books” that is published by the DC comics. The character is a secret identity for Bruce Wayne, the only heir to Wayne Enterprises. Bruce Wayne swore an oath of vengeance when he witnessed the death of his parents;Thomas Wayne and Martha Wayne (Diamond, 2015). Bat man combats criminals in Gotham: a fictional city, with assistance from various characters, for example, his butler Alfred and Gordon; Gotham city police commissioner. Unlike many of the superheroes characters, Batman possesses no powers .Bruce Wayne trained himself intellectually and physically .it is from dedication to training he possessed the useful traits of physical prowess, martial arts skills, detective skills and indomitable will to fight for justice. Though his motive is to combat crime and protect people of Gotham city from criminals, the justice system in most of the times views Batman as a villain and vigilante. He can inflict fear to Gotham city criminals thereby bringing calmness to the city. I identify myself with the Batman character through his selfless will for justice, his strong determination to do good
