When TV judges just can’t stop laughing
Everyone loves watching a competition when the judges just can’t hold it together - their reactions make everything 100 times funnier. Sometimes though, they get the giggles too hard, and can’t reel themselves back in.
Has this happened on your favorite TV show? The answer is probably yes.
America’s Got Talent
Sometimes, watching America’s Got Talent, you wonder if it should be called America Doesn’t Have Talent. There have been some truly awful auditions, so awful that the judges can’t keep themselves together. But, sometimes, the judges not being able to control their laughter is a good sign. For comedian Preacher Lawson, putting the judges in a fit of laugher was exactly what he went there to do, and exactly what he did!

American Idol
With entire compilations on YouTube dedicated to the topic, there’s no shortage of laughter from the judges on American Idol. William Hung is famously known as one of the worst auditions on American Idol, and actually scored a record deal from the embarrassing ordeal.
During his original audition, the judges couldn’t look at him with a straight face. Randy reverted to his go-to move - hiding behind a piece of paper.

X-Factor
The hit British TV show has graced us with performers like One Direction and Little Mix. It’s also given us some fits of laughter that just couldn’t be contained. Most notably, there was an incident with Sharon Osbourne and an apprentice jockey. And yes, you read that right.
When a contestant announced to the judges that she was an apprentice jockey, Osbourne lost it which set off co-host Louis Walsh. When the contestant began singing, the laughing got even
The King has just granted a charter to the Virginia Company of London. As an employee I have been assigned the task of reaching North America. We are close to the Americas as this journey has been a long and tough one I am glad to say that I can finally see land but I must say the smell of ocean salt does get boring after a while. Once arrived on land we shall set up a colony as well has find gold and silver deposits. We have also been sent to find a river route to the Pacific Ocean so that the Virginia Company can trade with Asia. There is still more to come from this journey but for now I am happy to be so close.
Colonial merchants resented the trading restrictions and continues to illegally trade with other countries. England did little to stop them until 1684, when King Charles II began to punish colonists whom he believed most resisted English authority, which were the leaders and merchants of Massachusetts. After failing to persuade them to obey English laws, England revoked the colony’s corporate character and they were under strict control of the crown. When King James II proceeded Charles, he began seeking to make the colonies more obedient. Within three years the land from south Maine to New Jersey was united into one colony, the Dominion of New England. The Navigation Acts were strictly enforced, smugglers were prosecuted, local assemblies
b. Their trade pattern was North-South not East-West if anything they should join the USA.
That most of the settlers were kicked out of England due to persecuting other Christian groups, then killed the Native Americans to steal their land. After refusing to pay their taxes that they owed, they started a war of independence and then it became the USA. Also, three hundred citizens died by being warned by a Native American and during the second Massacre, four hundred citizens died with no warning in 1608 and persecuted and leaving for the Netherlands. The most that surprised me was that the Tobacco was established in the state of Virginia and the king John Rolfe totaled a half a million pounds of tobacco. That’s how he was getting rich and by making others rich because he had people work 50 acres of land, which was expensive in
The Native Americans biggest conflict was white expansion into their territories. They faced the biggest obstacles after the war, they had no alliances, their biggest alliance was the British who were no longer in the northwest (Brinkley, 211). The Native Americans also had no rights to defend their land. On the other hand, the Americans, and especially the Federalist party, faced serious consequences after the war of 1812. The United States army was defeated by the Great Britain numerous times. As a result, the Federalist government was regarded as unpopular and was oppressed in New England. When The federalists tried to withdraw themselves from New England, they failed which ultimately led to the downfall of
Most people are not aware of the media’s absurdities; the exploitation of one woman can be another’s entertainment. Daniel Alarcón’s essay, “The Contestant”, is a true story about a Peruvian woman named Ruth Thalia; Ruth Thalia became an overnight sensation by appearing as a guest on a popular South American game show. The game show had turned Ruth from a normal woman to a celetoid by manipulating her into giving the media a good story. Shortly after the show aired, Ruth went missing and was eventually found dead in a well and covered in concrete. The media played a considerable role in her untimely death; had she not appeared as a guest on the game show, she could be alive today. The story contains many examples of how genuinely cruel and
The alcohol prohibition also known, as the “noble experiment” was a time when the citizens of the United States were tested of their sanity, loyalty, and respect of the law and government. On January 16, 1920 alcohol was banned from the nation we live in today and all purchase and consumption of liquor was illegal. In the beginning of the Prohibition era the public had a general acceptance and by 1933 when the Prohibition ended the public was annoyed with the law, the law enforcers, and the government. The banning of alcohol throughout the nation didn’t just happen over night. For many years, dating back into the 1800’s, people were creating groups that were against alcohol.
Back in grade school my music teacher showed us a fuzzy low quality YouTube video from America's Got Talent. The projector lit up the white screen with a still picture of old lady with tight ringlets covering her head and a red play button overlapping her. The old lady introduced herself and announced she was singing this fancy opera song. I along with the judges sort of giggled, there was no way this old lady wearing a cat shirt could sing such a sophisticated song.
Throughout history there have been many scenarios where people's power influenced the decisions of others. However, there are three different types of power. We have seen these types of power in many stories. In these stories people can obtain their power through social class, gender, and race. In the novel To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee power is a key component. This is shown when a women named Mayella Ewell accuses a black man of raping her. Mayella is powerful in regards to er race; however, she is not powerful in regards to gender and social class.
Lawson has spoken with Radio Times as per Telegraph and insisted that she just considers herself a home cook and 'The Great British Bake Off' challenges were too complicated for her skill. She also said she'd rather not join the cooking contest as she doesn't want to "abuse" the people's trust and she is totally aware that "people know how limited" her skills are.
The proposed group fits with the agency’s mission: To empower children, youth and families with opportunities for success and independency while emphasizing their sense of cultural and self-identity. Have you ever known someone what thought they were the funniest person ever. Gary Boone in the book Dogs Don’t Tell Jokes by Louis Sachar had thought he was when no one had really gotten his jokes. He soon realizes that winning the talent show might make him a bit more noticeable.
Simon Cowell is the definition of direct. If he has something in mind, he will say it. It’s almost like his mouth isn’t filtered, and he doesn’t care much about it either. Cowell is well known for his brutally honest personality and bringing many contestants to tears after auditioning for him, as well as partnering up and creating American Idol, and Pop Idol. Cowell had a bad start but that didn’t stop him he continued to work towards his dreams, and look where he’s at
Growing up, my mother always encouraged me to be involved in any activity I should interest in, whether that be soccer, softball, theater, or chess club. While my mom did not always have the extra money or time, she never told me I could not pursue a new activity. Through my mother’s actions, I have learned to never settle and to continue to fight and work for better, for myself and others. My mother’s selfless attitude and positive attitude inspire me to have the same attitude with the my future family and the people around me.
BOOM BOOM BOOM stomped the feet of the crazy dancers there was a crash then a loud but high voice saying “why didn’t you bump into me are you crazy help I’m being tortured” and of course that voice was my friend Preia the dramatic princess And I said sorry but she was really upset that this kept happening and then she said” get away from me you're the worst dancer ever and should never dance again” she might of not said that exactly but that’s what I felt like she was saying because it was all in her face’s expression.
