Amanda Calkins is someone that very few people would consider a role model. A twenty one year old girl in culinary school who doesn’t have much to her name other than a beat up yellow volkswagen beetle, a cat named Dinah, and her weekly pack of marlboro red cigarettes that she carries around in her black leather purse. She is always running late, constantly swearing, and has the most unpredictable temper. Her skin is white as the snow, and her edgy black shaggy hair frames her face giving off a very mysterious look. Tattoos and piercings cover her rawboned and angular body, and her baggy clothes make her look all skin and bones. She is a very independent woman who doesn’t let the thoughts of anyone else interfere with her life and has

Amy Changes. Puberty!? “How did conflict change Amy?” is a good question. Conflicts have changed Amy in many different ways. Whether it was bad, or for the greater good, she did change a lot. Roseanne Connor, A Positive Role Model for Someone in Their 30’s Roseanne Connor is a positive role model for someone in the thirties from the sitcom, “Roseanne”. She is a loud mouthed, outspoken, overweight, and unapologetically working class who made no attempt to be the perfect mom. Even though she did her best. She was raised by an abusive father and a mother who just stood by while this happen. She raises her family with truth and humor. She doesn’t hold back when most people would and she fights every day to put food on the table and make sure the bills are paid. She is from a working-class family that works hard for everything they had and they do not have much. This makes her one of the most realistic sitcom moms.

Amy Chua style is more of authoritarian. I understand that we all want what’s best for our children’s but for the Chinese parents it seems like they want to control their child life’s, there is a certain role parents have but being extremely controlling with the child life’s they are not giving them the opportunity to learn and explore for themselves. Chinses parents think they know best for their children but to having a saying in their life the children might always wonder what if or they might not even know what to do later on in life when the parents are not around they might let someone else control their life since they been so use to it. Chinese parents demand perfect grades because they believe that their child can get them. If their child doesn't get them, the Chinese parent assumes it's because the child didn't work hard enough. We all want our children to get good grades and sometimes push them so they can but there are times were the children just doesn’t understand but that does not mean they didn’t work hard enough; they are trying their best so all we should do is tell them they done the best they can

The only information that Amy DeLuca was willing to share with me relating to her personal background is that she is married and has two sons. I wasn’t quite surprised with this being the only information she had to share with me, especially because she was more focused on giving me detail relating to her professions and education.
Amelia Earhart Amelia Earhart was a role model and pioneer for all women in the 20th century, and
He preached regarding the prodigal son where the father had said to the oldest son "And he said to him, 'Son, you have always been with me, and all that is mine is yours Mr. Moody said, "I never saw it before. Oh, the love of God's love. Oh, the love. God's love." Tears rained down his cheeks. Amy never forgot that spiritual truth-"All that I have is thine." It reinforced her faith that God knew her needs before she asked and wanted to supply them by faith. Amy always had a heart for those who are considered “unlovable” and treated them as equals rather than low members of society (Eliot). One day, Amy, her mother and brothers were leaving church when Amy noticed an old woman coming out of the alley (Amy). Her clothes were all torn up
In a recent Instagram post that has riled some followers as well as non-followers who just happened to see what Amy put up on the media site. Although she was saddened that TLC wouldn’t air their wedding, she did thank all the fans and people supporting the idea that her wedding with King in hopes that TLC would change their minds. She then added a little more which people have read into as a way of obtaining money or gifts from fans and followers that didn’t sit right with many. Amy even provided a post office address “that people could send cards and etc.” to if they so desired. She even promised to reply with a letter back to them if they did send anything to them by personally writing a handwritten reply back to them. This has hit some nerves that she had the nerve to write it and ask for “etc” in her post which has been taken in many different lights that don’t seem to be shinning down on Amy at the moment for such a brash and somewhat innocent request for
