The Dive bar will have a full bar and small menu for food that is competing with other companies in the area. In order to compete with our competitors, our craft beers are from local breweries around the Greenville area and our food will be locally grown and locally fed beef that we will serve to our customers to ensure a great, quality product that our customers will love. We have a great premium location in downtown Greenville where we can capitalize on our market and strive to be the best bar in the downtown area. Focusing on more of a diverse food menu alone can generate more foot traffic . People may avoid The Dive due to the lack of food options since we are more well known as a drinking spot. We are legally recognized as a “Drinking Place” and/or a “Limited-Service Restaurant” (Industry 722410 or 722211). We can offer more choices to eat such as sandwiches and full dishes. Fully switching to lunch, dinner, and late night specific menus will help increase popularity. We will keep the same pub-style options for the current regular customers, but offer lunch and dinner choices for the new clients.

Internal Environment The Dive is a local dive bar that offers its customers a friendly environment, a wide selection of alcohol, and a limited variety of food options. The business mission statement is: We are “The Dive”, we serve our customers with our full bar and limited food menu. Our general target market is anyone twenty-one and up with the intentions to sit down, relax, and have a drink. Our company’s well trained staff and loyalty to customers is what makes us unique. The Dive offers great hospitality, a diverse drink menu, and quality food to customers who love spending their night at a bar/restaurant. The local business is ran by the owner of the bar.
