All believe that Jesus was the Messiah, the Son of God. In the Gospel of Mark we have to address, through interpretation methods, such as historical/ critical analysis and liberation theology, the revelation of the mind and heart of Jesus and his message. This is done by Mark through the use of stories eg, Jairus’ daughter (Mark 5: 21-43), parables, such as The Parable of the Sower, (Mark 4:1-20) and miracles, such as Jesus healing the blind man - Bartimaeus (Mark 8:22-25). These examples point to the power of God within Jesus.
