Daniel 12:1 appears to state these events in these verses in 11:36-45 will specifically happen at the time of the end before Christ’s second coming. Therefore, the following verses are not simply Antichrist typology, as seen in previous verses in chapter 11, but are prophetic pronouncements that directly relate to the Man of Sin who arrives at the end of the age. The following texts, in my opinion, are written about Donald Trump.
11:36 “Then the king will do as he pleases, and he will exalt and magnify himself above every god and will speak monstrous things against the God of gods; and he will prosper until the indignation is finished, for that which is decreed will be done.”
Much of this has been covered already in earlier passages. Despite the odds, Trump will do what he wills, when and how he wills it, and will succeed at doing it. As Trump’s opposition melts away, the Lord will decree things to come to pass that appear, as if magically, to give credibility to Trump’s former absurd statements and actions. This does not rule out the possibility of satanic influence, since God is head over the “bad as well as the “good” angels. The ascendancy of Donald Trump can only be ascertained inclusive of the battle taking place in the spirit realm.
The end of verse 36 is clear however that Donald Trump cannot do anything aside from God’s decrees; decrees that manifest through the actualization or fruition of the foreordained, eternal purpose and will of the Source of such decrees.…
