My artwork is called “Vistoso.” I called my artwork this because vistoso is the Spanish word for colorful. “Vistoso” fits my artwork because it is a painting of a tree and the backround is a rainbow. The subject matter is a tree on a rainbow. The tree is the main aspect of my painting it has little white spots to add an unique detail. The most obvious thing of my my artwork is the tree in the middle. My artwork is made from both watercolor and acrylic paint. The rainbow is made out of watercolor and the tree was made from acrylic. I blended the rainbow to make the colors look more realistic. I used different designs to make my artwork look more unique and have a different aspect. I was inspired by nature. I love being outside. When we got
A second medium was acrylic paint, which is a combination of pigment and a plaster vehicle (Fichner-Rathus, 2017). The third type of paint media was alkyd, is a semi-gloss enamel paint that, has the strength and durability of the artwork.
For this weeks artist, we were asked to summarise the information provided to us based on the artist, Tracey Moffatt, and research other information to include in the summary. We then had to gather four images of her artworks and write comments on them including, our thoughts, opinions and other general statements about the image. Another requirement of the two week task, was writing about what we personally thought our chosen series produced by Moffatt was about, and also including a short 200 word paragraph on what image we would add to the series and why. The last task was to create an artwork based on Tracey Moffatt’s style of art.
The work is organized as a complete composition that shows light and values for the picture. The work is constructed using different lines such as horizontal, diagonal, and vertical lines. The image used a lot of repeating lines. The artwork emphasis the flag.

‘Casta Paintings’ refer to a pictorial genre developed in the early eighteen centuries in New Spain to portray procreation. They are sequencing of images that illustrate the three major races that resided in the Americas: Indigenes (indios), Spaniards (Españoles), and Africans (negros). The process of mixing ancestries in the union of people of different races was known as mestizaje. ‘Casta’ was a hierarchical system of race classification created by Spanish elites in Hispanic America during the 18th century. Casta paintings, produced for elite criollo audiences (those of Spanish ancestry born in the Americas), bolstered economic and social inequality and legitimized a racial hierarchy that kept criollos at the top.
My first work is "La Primavera" written by the Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi in 1723. “La Primavera” is one of four violin concertos, each capturing moods and illustrating stories related to a specific time of year. Each section within this movement illustrate the most beautiful scenes of the spring season, including birds, babbling brooks, and a thunderstorm. (Soomo). My second work is an oil on canvas painting, titled “The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone” by Thomas Moran. “The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone” was painted in 1872 and captures the unique geological formations and diverse and extravagant colors of the Midwestern United States landscape. The common theme shared by both of the chosen pieces of work is nature. Antonio Vivaldi embraces the spring season and captures the moods and illustrates stories specific to that time of year. Moran captured the true beauty of a Midwestern landscape of the United States. Although one work is musical piece and the other is a landscape painting, both capture the beauty of nature and the surrounding elements.
Shepard Fairey’s piece titled Pay Up or Shut Up is a representation of the role that money or your role in society dictate the power of your speech. This piece of art by Fairey was released in May of 2015. It is a screen print on cream speckletone paper.
The name of my creative piece is 24 Hour Change. It is a painting of a city and its sunset in a one viewpoint perspective to show the differentiation of the same city in 24 hours’ time, where the left side was the city before and where the right side was the city after 24 hours. This shows the theme of how one’s life can change within a day’s time, like my inspiration work. The inspiration work in this project was Pride of Baghdad. The reason I chose this original work as my inspiration is by the comic’s style and theme. Throughout the comic, it used warm colors to convey fire, destruction, as well as the sunset. This inspired me to paint a scene using mainly warm colors, such as red, orange, and yellow to inflicted a gloomy ending mood.

Now, let's talk about the charitable gift annuity. A charitable gift annuity is a simple contract between the donor and the charity. In exchange for the donor's irrevocable gift of cash, securities, or other assets, the charity agrees to pay one or two annuitants that the donor has named a fixed sum each year for life. The payments are backed by the general resources of the charity. The older their designated annuitants are at the time of the gift, the greater the fixed payment charity can agree to pay. In most cases, part of each payment is tax free, increasing each payment after tax value. If the donor gives appreciated property, the donor will pay capital gains tax on only part of the appreciation. In addition, if the donor names themselves as the first or only annuitant, the capital gains tax will be spread over many years rather than all due in the year of their gift.

The two works of art that I have chosen to analyze are 1) Jordan Casteel. Miles and JoJo. 2014. Oil on canvas, 54” x 72” and 2) Aaron Fowler. He Was. 2015. Mixed media, 134” x 165” x 108”. The themes that these works of art represent in regards to the exhibit are love, family, and pain. However, they also fall into other thematic categories. The main theme that seems to apply to both “Miles and JoJo” and “He Was” is Human Experience. Additionally, these arts differ in some ways.
Artworks have played an indelible work to the lives of humanity. The creative nature in Artists is a complex matter to define. The uncertainties in the intrinsic nature in art lay difficult aspects that can only be answered by values, themes and skills depicted in an artist artwork. Apart from playing the intricate psychological effect on humans, the artworks have been used as a tool of expression that has been revered and uniquely preserved for future generation. Among some of the most revered modern forms of artwork has included Chicano Art that had a core relationship to Las Carpas, Indigenismo, rascuachismo and other forms of performance art.
n this paper, I will be analyzing the following piece of digital art. Now the first thing I notice when I look at this picture is the color, it's mostly calm or cool colors mostly shades of blue or white. Which can mean many things that this person was feeling calm or was in a relaxed state while making this piece of digital art . or that he was depressed . The open theme of this picture brings a sense of calm and peace to me. The what look to be planets surrounding the tower in the middle also could have multiple meanings for instance they could represent the multiple possibilities of life or metaphorical worlds such as love life or social world etc... everything in this picture is taking place above the clouds possibly stating that this individual is above said problem. Or he has reached a mental state where this doesn't affect him. The architecture gives a fantasy/historical feeling that swallows you in a calmness. Each individual planet is rotating on a different axis suggesting different time or different place in the universe.
Art is an object or piece of work that brings one pleasure. Art is also something you see or feel and you cannot even begin to describe the ways you like it or how it makes you feel. Art is something that portrays beauty and happiness. Art lets you see the world through another person’s perspective. Most art seems to tell a story about where a person has been and the things they have encountered along the way. It lets you connect with the artist and see things through their eyes. Art is a way of expressing one’s self without words. When I think of art, I think of paintings, portraits, sketches, and sculptures.
