What is Philips? Philips &Co. is Technology Company, and one of the biggest electronics companies in the world. The company has "111 manufacturing facilities, 59 R&D Facilities across 26 countries and sales and service operations in around 100 countries". It is established in 1891 by Gerard Philips and his father Frederik Philips in Eindhoven (Netherlands), in 1895 Anton Philips joined to them. Anton a good commercial talent and take the company to be one of the leading companies in the world. Mission& vision:- Their mission: "Improving people’s lives through meaningful innovation." Their vision: "To make the world healthier and more sustainable through innovation To improve the lives of 3 billion people a year by 2025 To offer the best place to work for people who share our passion To deliver superior value for our customers and shareholders" Philosophy:- Their vision statement is explained what they want to achieve in the long run .But there is only one criticism which is the statement too long "44 words". And the mission statement is too short around 6 words, doesn 't declare what the firm wants . The statement has some of these characteristics, widely scope not, and balance between stakeholders ' interests .When people read it, they will get positive feeling .
