The Mexican Supreme Court has just rejected a proposal to legalize abortion and push for abortion-on-demand during early pregnancy in all 31 states of Mexico.
In a 3-1 vote, the Mexican Supreme Court’s First Chamber ruled against the said proposal, which cites Roe v. Wade as a justification for the legalization of abortion nationwide. The draft decision, authored by Supreme Court Justice Arturo Zaldivar Lelo de Larrea, also would have pushed for more affordable and better access to abortion services by putting up abortion centers, Life Site News reports.
