Romans 5:12-21 “12 When Adam sinned, sin entered the world. Adam’s sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned.
14 Still, everyone died-From the time of Adam to the time of Moses-even those who did not disobey an explicit commandment of God, as Adam did.
15 For the sin of this one man, Adam, brought death to many.
16 For Adam’s sin led to condemnation
17 For the sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over many
18 Yes, Adam’s one sin brings condemnation for everyone
19 Because one person disobeyed God, many became sinners.
21 So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death”-NLT
The DNA of every human being ever to be born changed and became shackled to the debt that is the price of sin. Sin is what separates us from God, and that is how we are born… separated from God. This is what God meant when He told Adam and Eve that they would die. Their DNA was going to change because of sin.

Sin changed their blood, which changed their bodies. Until they broke the rules, their bodies were fully capable of housing the glory and presence of God, which is why they could be in such close contact with Him.
